Lucy couldn't stand that house anymore, she had to find a way of leaving, if it meant saving up enough so that her and Taylor could get a place for themselves she would do it. The time was approaching 7pm and Lucy knew that Cain took his walk around 7, this was her one and only shot to get out of this house for good. Bags were packed full of useful and needed things, everything she could carry with her was packed in these bags. Lucy hoped to come home one day when Cain was gone but she highly doubted that Cain would ever leave, no he wouldn't leave when he had food and water right where the object of his desire was. Lucy.
The door squeaked open and Lucy flung herself and the first few bags out into the corridor. She had planned this escape for weeks, the one day she couldn't afford to make a mistake was today. The taxi should be waiting outside, so Lucy drags her bags outside and she stops her brother coming back rather quickly. she stepped out the way and into the car.
The sun started to set as Lucy raced to the new destination. the place she would now call her home, it was a Small wood cabin in the forest on the outskirts of town. her auntie owned this cabin and she had agreed to let Lucy stay there to "study" over the next few weeks. anything was better than being in that house with Cain. That was unbearable and it almost killed her.
When Lucy arrived at her new home the sun had set and Lucy felt the chill of the summer night. She picked up her bags and paid the taxi driver with what little money she had. The taxi drove away and the dust engulfed the end of the road and Lucy felt safe at this place. A place where she could stay for a while because her auntie liked her. Lucy picked up the bags and opened the front door to get greeted with a warm smile and a cheerful voice.
"hello darling" Mrs Englise said
"hello auntie Englise" Lucy replied in her cheery voice, giving her auntie a kiss on the cheek
"lets get you settled in"
They both walked up to Lucy's room and her antie asked her a questios and set down the rules
"well would you like me to buy you a bus pass for the next month while your here? so you can get into town and see your friends." Lucy's face lit up at this kind thought. no one was nicer than aunite Englise.
"yes, thank you very much" Lucy ran over to her antie and gave her a massive hug.
"okay thats enough dear, im going to make tea ill call you when its done" her antie walked out the room and Lucy admired the samll simplicity of the room. It was jsut what she needed a completely fresh start.... for now anyway.
