A/N: I'm happy you guys are just as excited as I am for this story :)

-

I slowly breathed in as I stood in front of the gates of the camp.

The air smelled so fresh, so full of life.

I could hear the sound of birds and footsteps of people.

I turned around to my dad who waited on the hood of his car.

He opened his arms for me to give him a hug.

As I let go I could hear the sound of hoofs behind me, I turned around to see a girl in a brown skirt and crop top leading some horses around.

As soon as the horses saw me they began to get impatient and the girl looked at me while trying to keep the animals next to her.

A few of the animals staggered and all were making loud noises.

A guy quickly hurried to her and helped her with the horses as I continued to stare after them.

They managed to control them and slowly led them away.

Far away from me I soon enough saw.

"I better get going"

I said to my dad as he handed me my bag.

He put his hand on my shoulder

"Have fun kiddo"

I mumbled a quick will do and headed towards the gate where a girl with deep blue hair awaited me.

"I'm Alyona"

She said and shook my hand.

She looked graceful.

"My father is Hermes, I welcome everyone here and make sure their transitions from the human world to this gods camp flow good.

Basically if you have any questions, feel free to talk to me.

What's your name?"

She asked as her green eyes scanned me over.

"Connor"

"An human name, nice. We have a few more kids like that.

Wait let me guess...."

She said as she looked around me.

"Your mother is Artemis isn't she"

I nodded.

"How did you know that?"

She pointed at the forest behind me, where a deer stood on the edge, looking straight at me.

"Artemis, Goddess of the wilderness and animals, the protector of children.

They are drawn to you, all the animals. That's how I know"

She smiled.

"I'm gonna show you around real quick and show you your room"

I nodded as she started walking.

She pointed to the forest.

"Here's where you will be spending most of your time,

you're free to go there whenever you want, but you have to be at the camp fire at 11 am for your lessons and 6 pm for dinner,

you can have breakfast and lunch whenever you want and wherever you want so, most people prefer to eat around the fire but you might want to go into the forest where there's and old cut off tree, the stump is huge and there's always animals crowding it. You'll like it."
