Malaysia Indi Jones

i groaned in a frustrated tone as I sat writing this paper for my psych class. This is the third essay I had to write this week and my body is extremely exhausted. I'm running off hours of sleep right now.

College life isn't always hype and fun as everybody makes it seem. You have to work and I mean really work. Yes the parties are dope, but sometimes priorities come to show. Some people would rather party than keep their grades up so they could keep partying here.

See me, I'm not the party goer type anyway. But I like them, it's a great way to relax and chill after a long week of work. But I only stay for about an hour or two before I leave. There's really no point in partying all night.

"Indi!" My roommate Tara called me by my middle name. Tara is a real cool girl. She's sort of tall, brownskin, brown eyes, long black hair, pretty smile, she also has a great personality. When we first met we instantly clicked, she's got a great vibe.

"Wassup!" I yelled. She came in and plopped down in the bean bag next to me.

"I just wanna sleep. My feet hurt." She whined. I shook my head and laughed. She worked today instead of going to the party and now she's exhausted. But it was for the best of her. She didn't need to go because the last party she went to caused too much trouble.

"You'll be okay." I said as I finally finished off my essay. I saved it and closed my laptop. She looked at me and smiled, "My little bookworm. How's the essay?"

"Finished and out of the way. Now I can finally sleep."

"Indi, why you so anti? Would it kill you to do more than sit in this room!" I rolled my eyes. Nobody understood me. Yes parties are fun, but I don't want college to be all about partying and what not. I wanna make something of myself before I leave here.

"I'm good Tara." I said. She shook her head. I got up and got in my bed. She just stared at me.

"You're so difficult and different. But maybe that's the reason I actually love talking to you." She laughed. I shrugged with a small smile.

"Well this weekend since we're both off...lets go to that frat party." I thought about it. Frat parties were always bomb. "Yea haven't been to one in a while." I smiled.

"Good then it's settled. Now I'm bout to shower and get in bed. Goodnight." She said before disappearing to the back.

I shook my head and layed down in bed and closed my eyes before going to sleep.

I threw the football into the air and watched as my bro Kelvin caught it. Football is life. Well it's really all I know. As a kid my pops kept me in sports to keep me out of trouble and football was my favorite. It just stuck to me, I was good in other sports, but this sport is my baby.

Kelvin walked over to the benches and I followed him. It's really early as fuck right now. But every morning we wake up to do a early workout before classes.

I took a drink of my water before gazing out at the field. I smiled, all my life this has been my dream. And I'm glad I'm living it.

"Yooo who is that?" Kelvin asked as he looked over to his right. I followed his gaze and seen two females running. I recognized one to be my homie named Tara. She cool peeps, but not to sure who the other one was.

"Tara!" I yelled. She stopped and smirked before slapping her brstfriends arm. They both walked over and I couldn't help but to stare at the other girl. She was cute.

"Hey dumbass." She joked. I smacked my lips as I stood up and hugged her.

"Aye yunno Kelvin. And Kel this my homie Tara." I introduced. I looked at her friend and she was eyeing me.

She a short caramel girl. Long curly black hair that she has in a ponytail, hazel eyes, pink pouty lips, and she a slim thick.

"This my girl Malayasia. Malaysia this is my homie Rio." She nodded. Kelvin shook her hand and I held mine out and she shook it.

We locked eyes and I smirked before letting her hand go. Tara clears her throat and her friend smirks.

"It was good seeing you ugly and nice meeting you Kel. But we got some working out to do." The two girls waved and jogged back to the track. I licked my lips and smiled as I watched Malaysia.

"Hook me up." Kelvin smirked. I shook my head before grabbing my gym bag and walking off.

I walked to my dorm and walked in and headed straight to the shower. Afterwards I dressed in a pair of basketball shorts and got into bed before I had to go to class in three hours.
