We all too often look at a device that records the current date/time and ask ourselves or those around us the inevitable question of 'is that really the date?!' (or something to the same effect)
We are usually in one of two states of mind when we ask this question. We either have been too busy completing superficial tasks which although superficial are the only way one can survive in this world thus we haven't realised that time has rather sneakily but also rather blatantly passed us by. Either this, or alternatively, our mind knows exactly what date it is but has failed to share it with us in a bid to fool itself and ourselves so we don't have to face the reality of the speed at which time passes us by whilst we go about 'living'.
The moral of this anecdote is that although I understand we have to do certain monotonous tasks like going to school/work, we should still make sure we make full use of any free time we have and if we don't have any spare time we should make it as life is too damn short as it is!

If you feel someone would benefit from my musings please share this with them so we can spread the message that we must embrace life while we're still blessed with the ability to do so!
