Solar Eyes

The sun, like a simple star at the centre of infinity,
reflects the light that is still in her eyes.
The moon, like a melancholic ball of darkness
that lights up when there is only hope.
But the sun, shining out the last cries of help,
almost congested with hatred, depression and lies.
Like her gaze, so beautiful, but too dark,
too wistful, too deplorable to cope.
For the moon cannot live when

there is no more light conveyed to the core.
As if her eyes were like the solar system,
every day and every night, vanishing more and more.
