"You were great!" Bill said, as Ashley collapsed onto the sofa after her show. She smiled at Bill and gave him the thumbs up.

"I think you got the crowd chilled after The Monkees' played. That reminds me," Bill tapped his jacket pocket. "I meant to pay them. Excuse me!"

Ashley waved as Bill left the room. She was glad he'd left. As fond as she was of Bill, his energetic spirit could be quite tiring at times. Ashley smiled to herself. She was happy that she could finally go home. It had been a busy day, and now she could relax.

She heaved herself off the sofa and went to grab her things.

"Look, Micky! We can't just go looking for that girl!" Mike said, as they watched everyone leave The Butterfly Inn. "Bill still has to pay us, and if we start wondering around the building than we might miss him!"

"Well, you guys can go find Bill!" said Micky. "I really want to go talk to Ashley and tell her how good she was!"

"Is that all you want to tell her?" Peter teased!

Micky pulled a face at him.

"Okay, okay!" Mike said. "Micky, you and Peter go find this Ashley and tell her what a good job she did. Davy, you come with me to find Bill, and we'll meet you boys at the car in ten minutes!"

Peter followed Micky back to their room behind the stage. He had never seen his friend like this before. Normally, it was Davy who liked to go and chat to the girls.

"How come you are so eager to see this girl?" Peter asked.

Micky stopped outside the dressing room door. He suddenly felt nervous. He turned to Peter.

"Have you ever met someone and felt like you met them before from somewhere?"

Peter thought about it for a moment, then shook his head. Micky pointed to the door.

"When I met Ashley earlier I got this funny feeling like I'd seen her before, but I can't think where!"

"Didn't you talk to her the other night?"

"I did, but that's not it! I feel like we met way before that!"

"Did she recognise you?"

Micky thought about when they met earlier. Ashley didn't really give any sign that she recognised him. He shook his head at Peter.

"Well, maybe you could ask her?" Peter suggested.

Micky did wonder that, but suppose she didn't. Suppose they hadn't met, he'd feel like a fool if she said no to not meeting him before this evening. He gave a sigh, tried to ignore the jittery feeling that was in his stomach and was about to knock when the nerves kicked in!

"I can't!" He told Peter. "I can't go and see her!"

Peter grinned, not wanting to tease his friend. He really wanted too, but decided Micky had been teased enough that day. Instead, he nodded. They were about to go and find Mike and Davy when there came a scream from down the hall!
