You were currently outside of the castle meditating. You usually do this in your spare time or when ever you're angry. Master Eraqus saw that when you were a young student, you had some darkness in you. Not much, but some to where if you got really mad it could control you. For the most part you have it controlled which is why he tried so hard to help you. He made you try a bunch of remedies to help but none seemed to work. So he decided that meditation was the only way to calm you down. At the castle also are three other apprentices; Aqua, Terra, and Ventus. You all have been friends for a couple years now and you all are really close. Even though Ven joined only about a year ago, you two have become super close. Ven though, is different then the others. Which kind of why you like him. The other reason is he is so kind and always puts others before himself. He cares to much for his own good but you don't care. Today you all were practicing with Master Eraqus but he kept yelling at you because you weren't quick enough or your stance was too sloppy. You finally had enough and ran out of the castle to where you are now to meditate. You don't know how long you've been out there, but judging by the sky being dark, you were probably out there all day. You get up and walk inside the castle to your room. You weren't in the mood for eating or talking to anyone so you just went to your room, got into your pj's, and went to sleep.
In the morning you woke up to the sun shining in through your window. You walk over to it and open it up. You then see a beautiful bird flying towards you so you reach out your arm to it. It lands on your arm and chirps. You pet its head and it coos, letting you know that it likes being petted. You then hear a knock on your door and the bird flies away.
"Come in." You said. Your door opens and Aqua walks in.
"Morning." She says happily.
"Morning." You say back.
"How...are you feeling?" She asks a little hesitant.
"I'm alright." You say.
"Well I wanted to check in on you. You didn't show up for lunch or dinner last night so I wanted to know if you were okay. Ven even wanted to know if you were okay. He wanted to come see you himself but he felt maybe you wanted more space." Aqua explained.
"I see."
"So are we gonna see you more today?" She asks jokingly.
"Yeah. You will." You say a little more happily.
"Great see you at training!" She said as she walked out of the room. You walk over to your dresser and get dressed. After that you walk down to the training room and notice no one is there yet. You summon your keyblade and practice some things that Master Eraqus wanted you to fix. While you were practicing, you didn't notice a certain blonde walk into the room. He leans up against the wall watching you carefully. He watches how you move step by step, and how you swing your keyblade. He then gets a little idea. He quickly summons his keyblade and runs towards you. Luckily you noticed a few seconds before he attacked, so you had the chance to block.
"So I noticed you were practicing." He said casually.
"Yeah. I figured I would before everyone else got here." You say as you swing at him. He dodges with a roll and swings at your back. You barely dodge it and block him. You push him off and do a fire attack. He blocks it and runs towards you again. You blocked him again but this time he pushed you back and you fell over. He walks up to you and puts his keyblade by your neck. He won. His keyblade disperses and he helds out his hand to you. You take it and he helps you up. You both stare into each others eyes and get slightly closer when the door opens up and in walks in Aqua and Terra. You and Ven move away from each other just in time before the other two notice.
"Ready for training today?" Terra asks you.
"Yeah." Is all you say. You and Terra didn't talk much but that's because you felt like he didn't like you that much. You all got into your stances and wait for someone to attack. Aqua runs toward you and does a blizzard attack. You block and turn around to block Ven's swing at you. Terra then runs towards Aqua and swings at her but she blocks him and pushes him back. Ven then runs toward Terra and does a Aero spell. Terra blocks it by doing a counter spell. Ven didn't block it in time and got blown back a few feet. He was alright but walked over to the wall. He was out. Aqua runs up to Terra but he was quicker and didn't a low leg kick and knocked her over. He put his keyblade by her neck. She was out. She gets up and goes over by Ven. Terra looks at me and gets into his stance while I get into mine. In an instant we both run towards each other and we clash our blades. It was difficult for you since he is a bit stronger but your holding up.
"You're not doing it correctly." He says to you.
"So what?"
"Do it correctly or else you'll get knocked down."
"I'm doing it just fine." You say a bit rudely as you push him back. You run towards him and slash at him. He dodged and went behind you. As you turned around he did a Fire spell at you but you did a flip over him and hit him in the side. He was down for a second but for back up.
"Not bad." He says with a smile. You smile back. "For an amateur." Your smile then fades quickly and you rush towards him. He expected you to try and slash at him again so he does a blackflip that knocks your keyblade our of your hand and does another Fire spell while you're distracted. It hits you and you fall back and slide a few feet. He walks over and points the blade at you. You lost. His keyblade disperses and holds out his hand to you. You take it and stand up.
"You need to be quicker if you want to succeed."
"I know." You say.
"Also work more on your magic."
"I got it."
"Plus your technique of-"
"I know alright! You don't have to remind me!" You yell at him. You turn around to walk out of the room when he says something to you again.
"You know....maybe Master Eraqus is right. Maybe you don't have what it takes."
"What?!?" You ask loudly.
"Well I'm just saying the truth. You don't have what it takes to be a Keyblade Weilder. Everyone knows it. All you do is hold everyone back." He says. You didn't turn to face him. You had your face looking down on the floor and you were clenching your fists as he kept blabbing about you not worth being a Keyblade Weilder and what not.
"Shut the hell up!!!!" You scream as loudly as you can. You turn around and run for him. He didn't expect you to so he was a little late to dodge but you got him. You ran up and punched him in the face. He fell over and his hand goes right to his cheek. You stand over him looking enraged. Aqua and Ven know that this isn't going to end well if not stopped so they ran up to you two to stop you from going crazy.
"(Y/n) calm down." Ven said as he tried to get you to move as Aqua helped Terra get up. As for you, anyone could tell that the darkness was controlling you. You had it around your form and your eyes turned golden.
"Ven, I'm taking Terra to Master Eraqus. You try and calm (y/n) down." Aqua said. Ven nodded to her and then kept trying to help you. Unfortunately he wasn't doing so well. At the moment he had you pinned down and tried to talk to you.
"(Y/n). Please calm down." He said to you. You just growled at him and struggled to get out of his grip.
"Get off me!" You yelled demonically. Ven was worried for you. He was trying everything he could think of to help but it wouldn't work. Ven then came up with an idea but he wasn't sure it would work. He sighed and leaned towards you slowly. He leaned down and kissed your cheek. Your eyes widen and with shock and then you try to push him off. You eventually got tired and cast a Aero spell. It worked. Ven went flying towards the wall and hit his head really hard. Fortunately he wasn't knocked out, but he was in a bit of pain. You stood up and walked over to him. As you got closer your eyes went back to normal and the darkness around you disappeared. When you looked around the room you realized what just happened. Your eyes traveled back to Ven and you gasped. Your eyes were full of tears. You never meant to hurt anyone and especially not Ven. Ven looks up to you and looks slightly frightened but mostly worried.
"(Y/n)....?" He said.
"I....I'm so sorry." You said slightly above a whisper. You ran out of the room, not wanting to look at the damage you had done. You went outside to the cliff where the four of you would hang out at night and watch the stars. You sat out there for a few hours trying to calm down. You did for the most part but you couldn't shake the terrible feeling you had. You even tried to meditate but that didn't work either. You then heard footsteps coming towards you. You turned around to see Ven standing a couple of feet behind you. You felt bad about what happened earlier and didn't want to hurt Ven even more so you stood up and went to walk back to the castle. You walked right past him but were stopped by a hand gripping your wrist. Ven was still looking ahead while you turned to face the back of him.
"W-what?" You asked. He turned around to face you.
"I'm not mad." He says.
"That's not the point."
"Then what is? I'm worried about you. You barely show up to meals anymore. You're always avoiding me it seems. I want to know what is going on."
"I....I just....don't want to hurt you anymore. I always end up hurting someone and I can't stand it." You say starting to cry.
"Well then let me help-"
"You can't."
"And why not?!" Ven asks a little angry.
"Because you will get hurt even more! I don't want to hurt you anymore! So please let me go!" You say with tears streaming down your face. Ven takes your other wrist in his other hand and pulls you closer to him.
"I don't care. As long as I don't lose you I'm okay." He says.
"But why?" You ask quietly.
"Because I love you (y/n)! That's why I worry about. That's why I always try to help and its why I care for you. I always have and nothing is going to change that!" He yells. He pulls you close to him and hugs you. Your still crying as you both kneel onto the ground and he tries to comfort you.
"Let me help you (y/n). With me, I will make sure that everything is okay."
"Alright." You say. Ven smiles and hugs you even more.
"Ven."
"Hm?"
"(Sniff), I love you too." You say. Ven smiles even more and looks you in the eyes. He leans towards you while you lean a little towards him. Eventually your lips meet and you both are blushing like crazy. One of Ven's hands makes its way up to your neck and his other goes around your waist. Your hands come up and clutch onto his shirt, making sure that he isn't a dream. Your lips move insinc with each other finding a rhythm. You finally part after a few minutes and you look into each other's eyes. Ven smiles at you and wipes away your tears.
"Don't ever leave me please." Ven says to you sweetly. You smile up at him and wrap your arms around his neck, hugging him.
"I won't."
"Promise?"
"I promise."
Ven stands up and holds his hand out to you. You take it and stand up, locking your hand with his. You both walk back to the castle holding hands and smiling.
