"See you in some weeks" were the last things I heard my parents say before I started walking into the halls of my new school Chamberlain Boarding Academy. Hopefully I'll be welcomed at this school. Wondering if Macy Andrews, a 16 year old, hour glass figure ( not to exaggerate), fashionable and a smart girl could fit in. Who is from a wealthy background. My father Adrian Andrews, a entrepreneur who owns several businesses including the Royal Gem Hotel and the Andrews Estate. Along with my mother Nicole Andrews having her dream come true, owning her famous bakery Sweet Desires.
Growing up I have never felt hard life, every summer being an only child, my parents would take me to Paris or Tokyo, mainly business purposes of course, unfortunately. Since my parents wanted me to be the best they sent me to the best school- Chamberlain Boarding Academy in England. I thought going to a new school would be rough and exhausting having to start all over, when I already made my name at my old school. Ugh...plus the catching up I will have to do...oh brother.
I had woke up late and I had to hurry and get ready and get my things here then try and find my way to my class. I looked at my timetable, realizing that I had maths. "Oh lovely", I said sarcastically. I hurried off trying to find the maths room. Sadly, I pushed the maths room door open and went in the class and was greeted by around 60 eyes. Everyone started talking as if it was their first time seeing a girl, I mean a hot girl of course. " They'll get use to it", I said to myself. "Everyone please be quiet, this is our new, who's name is..." He said trailing off.
"Macy Andrews" I said politely.
"Macy Andrews", said a girl sitting in the middle part of the class. " Yes its Macy Andrews, Tiffany... " the teacher said "...and how could I forget my manners, I am Mr. Benusky, your new maths teacher" he said cheerfully, as if maths was exciting.
"Take a seat Ms. Andrews" he said.
As I took a seat near to the window I started to feel how welcoming the environment was. I started thinking about how my time here will be when I heard my name bringing me back to reality. Realizing that sir was calling me, great. Can't even bask in my thoughts for a while.
"Can you solve this equation?" He asked me with hopeful eyes. I glared at him wondering if I was being tortured on my first day. As I began to walk to the board I heard the word "loser" sounding from the middle, I looked around to see a smiling Tiffany who tried putting in a straight face when she saw me looking. Looking at the equation, the thought of being tortured on my first day came back to mind. "I can do this...no I can't" I said having a conflict with myself.
"Uhmm I'm finished, uhh.. Is it correct?" I asked doubtfully.
He looked at my working out with such pain, I could feel the embarrassment already. Lovely. "Actually it's correct, you found a different way to solve the equation, well done Ms. Andrews" he said giving me a pat on the shoulder. Walking back to my seat I thought I was surprized but apparently Tiffany was hit with astonishment. " Close your mouth, isn't it too early to be catching flies?" I said with a smug smile. She glared at me while that smile stained my face for the rest of the day.
Realizing that in this school, if you got no confidence then expect to be downgraded.
Wow...chapter one. Well, uhm tell me what you think about it and please keep the comments in the rating G. This is my first book so it would be nice to get a little support and your comments. Until next time. ~Andhii
