Two Worlds

Chapter One

"Fratello, fratello!!" Feliciano swam over to bis brother quickly, with a worried expression etched on his face. His tail was a golden color with a hint of light brown.

"What do you want idiota?" Romano turned to look at Feliciano. He had an annoyed look on his face, like he normally did, and he crossed his arms. His tail was blueish-purple.

"Fratello, I was by the surface patrolling like you told me to and I saw this ship, and it was BIG! And it had a flag on it which made me think. why do ships have flags? I mean-" Feliciano kept rambling on and on and on!!!! Romano's eyes grew wide at the mention of a ship. "A ship!? What flag did it have!?" Not another fucking ship... I hope it isn't a pirate ship...

"Ve~ Well it was red on top yellow in the middle and red on the bottom, and an emblem on the side of the yellow."

Romano's P.O.V.

Damn. It's a Spanish ship. So it might also be a pirate ship. "You stay here, idiota. I'll go to the surface. If I don't come back in about 30 minutes come find me. Ok?" Feliciano nodded his head.

I swam up to the surface near the island where the shape of the bottom of a ship was. I was about 50 meters away from the ship, where hopefully no one would see me. I poke my head a little bit out of the water and inspect the ship. No one was on deck, so they were in their courtiers, or on the island. "God I hope no one is on the island."

I stay there a little longer until I feel a little comfortable with the ship, but was still suspicious of it. I swam back down to fratello after 20 minutes. "Thank god!! It was almost 30 minutes!!" He hugged me. "What did you find out, ve~?"

I looked at him in the eyes. "If there are people, the were in their courtiers or they were on the island." Feliciano gasped. "The island!?"

Feliciano's P.O.V.

I gasped. "The island!? But fratello! They could... you know!!!" Now I felt bad for the humans. "I know fratello, but we must remain calm. We can't go heads over fins can we?" I shake my head slowly. "No..." Romano gave me a small smile.

"Good. Now let's get some rest." I nod, and if on cue, yawned. We both swam to the cave that we made home, and slept.

They had no idea what would be in store for them the next day.
