The sun peeked through my curtains, shining onto my face. I smiled thinking to myself today will be a great day!

Yes it will be, I just hope we get to find our mate. Sapphire, my wolf answered in my head

Me too girl, me too.

I grabbed some joggers, and a loose shirt throwing them on, while throwing my long blonde hair into a high bun for the day

I snuck downstairs to find some food before everyone gets up to train. I lived in a house full of warrior wolves, who eat all the damn food all the time. I had enough time to fix me a decent sized bowl of cereal and grab two granola bars, I just got sat down as tons of the warriors flooded into the kitchen looking for food. After finishing eating, I set my bowl in the sink. I had to go to the Alpha's office before I go train with the warriors.

"When you are all finished eating, go out to the training platforms, warm up, and start with the simple stuff until I get there. I've got a meeting with Alpha Jackson."

"Yes ma'am" Everyone answered in sync, I smiled then exited the house jogging to the Alpha's office at the pack house. The alpha's son should be back today from his worldly travels looking for his mate. From what I have been hearing he apparently has found his mate just in time to lead our pack, hopefully just as well as his father has all these years. I entered the pack house, heading upstairs towards the Alpha's office, my wolf picking up the most wonderful scent she has ever smelt. I could feel her getting even more excited as we got closer to the Alpha's office, the scent getting stronger the closer we got to the door.

I knocked, and opened the door to Alpha Jackson talking to who appears to be his son and a very beautiful strawberry blonde. His son, Colton, turned around as I opened the door. His eyes locked onto mine, as mine locked onto his.

My wolf howling in my head

Mate! Our Mate! ......

His eyes darkened as he realized who and what I was to him. He was immediately in front of me, then pushed my roughly into the wall. Making Alpha Jackson stand up out of his chair and growl. Making Colton slowly stop.

"What in the hell has gotten into you Colton, you may be my son, and the soon to be Alpha. But that gives you no right to treat your gamma that way!" He yelled.

Colton backed up glaring at me, "She's my mate, Dad." His father's eyes widened at his statement.

"Why did you push her into the wall?" Jackson questioned, as I was still too stunned to even talk.

"Because I have found the perfect Luna during my travels, and she is sitting right there. I do not want you as my mate, Sybil, I Colton Jackson, soon to be Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack, reject you, Sybil Martin, as my mate and Luna." Colton stated, his father growing more pissed by the second. All the while my heart felt as if it had been ripped out of my chest. My wolf was howling inside my head at the loss of her mate. She was hurting, I was hurting. I could feel the tears threatening to show themselves. Instead I answered my mate, " I, Sybil Martin, Accept your rejection as your mate and Luna, Colton Jackson. I hope you have a great life with your Luna. Because you, can kiss my ass"

I swiftly turned on my heel, headed down the stairs, and out the front door. My heart was hurting, my wolf was hurting, we needed to run, we needed to get away.

I headed towards the woods at the front of the house, mind-linking my head warrior to tell everyone that training was canceled for the day, we would train tomorrow. I got to the edge of the woods, stripped, and tied my clothes around my ankle.

I let my bones crack, and change form as I finally stood on four legs. My wolf was not small by any means, as big as an alpha's wolf. Sapphire is beautiful, a solid black wolf with piercing blue eyes.

I darted towards my favorite spot in the woods, it was extremely close to rogue ridden lands.

Not thinking, I headed that way anyways. I stayed on my wolf form as I got to the small clearing. It was beautiful, hidden from the world. I laid in the grass, just pondering on why I was rejected. I wasn't good enough? Looks like my thoughts have always been true. I will truly never be enough for anyone. Sapphire whimpered, as I laid my head down.

I was jerked out of my slumber as I felt a needle pierce my left flank, already feeling woozy due to the toxin, I got up stumbling to face around twenty rogues.

I let out a menacing growl as they slowly inched towards me. I couldn't mind-link anyone, the toxin wouldn't allow me. I growled even louder, and went towards the rogues. I felt another needle pierce my flesh, they soon started inching towards me as I went to them. I wasn't going out without a fight. One went to grab me, I instantly grabbed a hold of the soft flesh on its neck slinging the rogue to one side.

The others circled me, as they parted just enough for another needle to hit me. This time, I shifted, my wolf couldn't handle anymore of the toxin. I fell as they inched closer, knowing I was going to die.

Black spots clouded my vision, as I felt myself be picked up and threw onto a wolf's back. "Be careful, and don't lose her, boss wants her alive.
