One small party has only changed my life for the better. I know, I know your thinking ' So Dramatic' but it's true. If you were in my place that night you would feel the exact same way ! Okay well since I'm babbling about it, how about I just tell you what happened.

"SKYE !! LET'S GOO !" My best friend Scar yelled walking into my room. She just stood there glairing at me when she saw me.
"Why aren't you dressed yet?" she asked
"Because I don't feel like going anywhere." I said
Scar gave me one hard stare.
"I mean, why can't we just stay here and make it one of the best girls night we've ever had?" I said smiling really big.
"Why would we do that when there is party waiting for us to attend?" she said not returning the smile.
"But I -"
"But nothing !" She said cutting me off. " and besides... Brandon is going to be there... and I know you want to see him."
And she was right. I've liked Brandon Smyth every since the 4th grade. Now I'm currently a Senior in high school... and my crush on him has only been getting stronger.
"Okay now snap out of la la land and go get ready for the party" Scar said laughing while pulling me from my thoughts.

We pulled up to the party and it was a minimum amount of cars here considering it wasn't that big of a party. It was only close friends just celebrating their senior year and just chillin.
We stepped inside the house and seen all of our friends there. There was my other friends Lonna, Myka, Jaycee, and Sahira. Scar's boyfriend Blaze and his friends Mitch, Cole, Dre, Ray, and Donte. I said hey to everyone but couldn't help but feel a little down when I didn't see Brandon.
"Cheer up short stuff he's here somewhere." Scar whisper to me
As soon as she said that I heard someone behind me.
"Hey Skye and Scar" I turned around and there he was looking finer than ever. Brandon Smyth.
"Hey Brandon" me and Scar both said separately
He smiled at me and then went towards where the guys were.
"Ohh did you see that. He gave you the ' you lookin' sexy smile' !" Scar said laughing
"Oh my God ! That smile did not say all that." I said
"Lol. I know but you know you just died and went to heaven" she said
"whateva" I said while blushing

We've all been at the party for a while just being us and having the best time of our lives.
"Ayee everybody lets play a game" Blaze said
"Okay how bout truth or dare." Scar said
Sure. Why not's. and Okay's rang around the room.
We all gathered around in a circle and Brandon was by me. My heart started beating so fast and if the room was silent, I swear you would be able to hear it.
"Okay so Skye how about you go first" Scar said
"Umm okay. Blaze. Truth or dare?" I asked
"Truth" He said
"Is it true that you lost your swim trunks at the water park one time?" I asked him
"Wow... lool yeah. Everybody seen all my goods" He said while scratching the back of his neck embarrassed.
We all started dying on the floor while Scar thought it was cute and leaned over to kiss him.
"Okay so my turn!" Blaze yelled while staring evilly at me.
"Brandon my boy!" he yelled "Truth or dare"
Brandon laughed and said dare.
"Well I. dare you. to kiss Skye. 10 seconds. Full on !" Blaze said
Brandon smirked and looked at me. My heart started beating rapidly that I thought it was going to pop out of my chest. Did I mention before that Blaze knew I had a crush on Brandon. Considering that it was his best friend we're talking about here.
I snapped out of it and looked at Brandon as he looked at me. He scooted closer to me until both of our bodies touched. His hand gently touched the side of my face and he leaned in as did I. I met him half way and then our lips touched. His lips are so soft. Oh my lawwd ! It felt like I was dreaming. It felt like forever kissing but hey... I wasn't complaining. We both pulled apart and just stared at each other. He finally looked away and just sat back. I turned towards everyone and they all stared at me and Brandon.
"Umm that was way more than 10 seconds" Blaze said with wide eyes
"More like 2 minutes worth" Scar stated
I looked down and blushed then felt something touch my hand. I looked and saw that it was Brandon. He smiled and me and left his hand on mine.

We finished the game and decided to call it a night. It was pushing 2 am. Me and Scar started to head out but not before Brandon walked over to me and hugged me goodnight.
"Bye Skye" and then kissed me on the cheek. 'BAMM' there goes my heart . I blushed for like the umpteenth time tonight.
"Bye Brandon" I said while smiling

I finally made it home and headed straight up to my room. I got out of my clothes and went to the shower. After I got out I did my hygiene thing and dressed into my pajama shorts and just a plain tank top.
I laid down thinking about what happened tonight. Just then my phone vibrated beside me.
It was a text from Brandon.
Brandon: 'Hey Skye, I just wanna say tht I had a great time tonight and I was thinking we could maybe do it again but us alone. How's Friday night? :)'
Me: 'I had great time too and Friday sounds good. :)'
Brandon: 'tht great ! Goodnight beautiful :-* '
Me: 'Goodnight :-* '

Now you know what happened that night. And to be honest my life did change completely and I'm happy about it.
I looked over to see my daughter, Laina, watching tv. A full head of curly brown hair like me and brown eyes like her father. She was a complete minnie me and I loved it.
Brandon came walking around the corner and Laina quickly latched on to him. She acts like me but was a major daddy's girl. He kissed her cheek and sat down next to me me. He kissed me on the lips and then sat back . We just sat together as a family.
And just to think that I didn't want to go to the party before. I'm just happy that a simple 'I dare you' caused for this to happen.
