"Hun hurry and get ready. Your dads picking you up in ten minutes." I nodded and rushed upstairs to get packed. You see, every summer my mom lets me go to my dads house and spend 2 years with him. It works out pretty well.

"Mom I'm done! Is he here?" I asked grinning.

"He's gonna meet us at the Airport." I nodded and ran out to the car. I got into the drivers seat when my mom opened the door.

"I'm driving Danae." my mom said as I jumped and scooted over to the passenger seat.

When we got to the airport my mom gave me a giant hug. "I love you mom." I said and grabbed my dads hand. This is the second time doing this. The deal is, I go spend two years in Oregon with my dad and come back to spend four years with my mom. I'm seventeen now. Last time I went I was 4 because my mom and dad got into a huge fight over me. So I guess I am practically going to be a new kid there.

"Danae you might have to sit with a stranger. Sorry sweety." Ha! Just my luck! I nodded and looked for a seat.

I was pulled down by someone. I looked over to see a boy around 17. I blushed and looked away. "Hey, I'm Ashton." I smiled.

"I'm Danae." I said and I kinda just stared at him. That was until I got a text from my best friend Angelisa.

D=Danae

A:Danae! I already miss you!

I looked at Ashton. He was smiling and he smirked at me.

D:I miss you too! Kay well there is this dude on the plane flirting with me lol.

I showed Ashton the text I sent her and he rolled his eyes.

A:Lol nice! Anyways you should probably turn off your phone because it could ruin the plane and crash you guys.

D:Psshh! Don't be silly Ange!

A:I guess. Kay well gtg. Love ya girl!

I looked at the ceiling. Then the intercom came on. "Emergency! Emergency! We are having some difficulty's with the wings! Prepare for bad landing. Everyone started screaming and I grabbed a mask and helped Ashton get one on also. No! This cannot be happening.

I facepalmed. Please say this is a dream. I remembered my dad. I looked back and a doctor was leaning over him. I gasped and tried to run over there. People grabbed me and pulled me back, but I slapped them away and ran to him. My heart broke as I touched his burnt skin. He had been shocked by loose wires and had roasted. I tried to cry but couldn't. Suddenly the back of the plane fell off. We were on the front part. We headed towards the ground fire burning on the ends of the plane. I huddled into a ball and cried. God please kill me now!

I heard a loud thud. I looked up and saw everyone dead. I tucked my head back into my knees and fell asleep. I dreamt of mostly everything that had just happened. First my dad dies, then Ashton, then everyone else! I hate my life!

"Do you see any survivors?" I heard someone from far away yell. I woke up and popped my head up.

"Hey! I think I found a girl!" called one who was standing next to me. I looked up to see a big muscly boy. "Hey you alright?" he said picking me up. I shook my head no.

"What hurts?" he asked me. I thought for a moment and then a huge glop of pain shot up my arm and leg. I pointed to them with my good arm. He nodded. "You know your the only survivor." he rubbed my back soothingly.

"I-I." I stuttered.

"Hun don't talk, we need to get you checked out by the umm... our dad." at that point I knew it wasn't their dad. It was something else.
