japanese was your favorite language

i remember you saying something

the day i came back

i didn't understand

so i asked you what it meant

but you just kept repeating the words

"watashi wa, anata ga daikiraidesu"

then i realized

that you knew

i fucked up

when it all translated into the words

"i hate you"
