Alex's POV
We got into the car and Damon started to drive, nobody knew where but as we drove, Damon told us how when he was younger, his mom would take him and is brother there, he didn't say what it was, but from what he said it sounded pretty great, before we left we went back to the house and he told us all to put on some old clothes we really didn't care about. I was wearing a plain black tank top and some jean shorts, everyone was wearing pretty casual clothes other than the usual band shirts and such.
We drove for maybe 20 minutes until we got to a forest, there was a small gravel path that the car barely fit through. Finally, Damon stopped in front of a beautiful pond.
We got out and looked at our surroundings, there was a small pond that was tinted a blue-greenish color but you could still see through the water, it seemed to be about eight feet deep at the deepest point, there was a large rock wall that looked to be about five feet tall. There was a small yet beautiful waterfall coming down from the rock wall. It was all so breath taking. I looked over at Johnnie who was smiling at me.
Johnnie's POV
She looks so beautiful, just as gorgeous as where we are, I was looking at her, she seemed so amazed.
She looked at me and looked somewhat confused.
"Sorry", I said looking at the ground.
She walked over to me and lifted my head up with her hands, she cupped my face and kissed me for a couple of seconds, it felt like forever, but I was okay with that.
She finally pulled away and everyone was staring at us.
"Awe", Jordan said blushing.
"You guys hit me right in the feels", Damon joked as he fake cried.
All of a sudden we shift our vision to the pond where we hear a big splash, a fully clothed Kyle was in the water swimming.
Alex ran into the water and went under, she came up soaking wet with her hair parted all different ways, she looked funny but she was still so gorgeous.
"Come on guys!" She yelled to us.
We all walked towards the water, all of them started swimming and jumping in. I stood near the edge of the water, I don't usually swim, it's not that I don't know how, it's just that when I used to be very suicidal, I tried to drown myself in our pool, every since then I haven't swam.
"Come on Johnnie!" Damon shouted, splashing me.
"I will soon!" I lied, there's no way I could get in that water, I don't trust myself and seeing everyone have so much fun makes it all worse.
Alex flipped her hair back so it wasn't all over the place and walked up to me. When she stood in front of me she was almost my height, but only an inch or two shorter than me. She rested her head on my shoulder so her mouth was right next to my ear.
"What's wrong?" She whispered, her voice being so close that I could feel it sent a chill down my spine. I twitched a tiny bit.
"Nothing, swimming just isn't my thing. And before you go thinking things I do know how to swim." I assure her.
She stepped away and giggled a small bit. Then she grabbed the front of my shirt and pulled me back towards her so our faces were only inches away. "Come with me", she said as she grabbed my hand and started walking behind he car, dragging me along with her. Everyone else didn't seem to notice.
When we got behind the car we sat on the ground. "Johnnie what's going on?" She said in a very serious tone.
"Nothing", I said while looking at the ground, I couldn't make eye contact with her for the life of me.
All of a sudden she stood up and grabbed my arm. "Get up Johnnie", she said in a low voice.
I got up and followed her as she dragged me behind her. She dragged me straight into the water. Let me tell you, it felt so good. I started smiling instantaneously. I loved it. I went under water and got my whole body wet. I looked at Alex who had a look of satisfaction on her face. I swam over to her and picked her up, she wrapped her legs around my waist and I kissed her for a long time. I am so happy that I have someone like her in my life to help me with things other people don't understand.
I still heard everyone else yelling and having fun so I know they didn't mind us.
Finally a few minutes later we pulled away, she was smiling at me while in my arms.
"Awe guys stop, now I miss Carson", Damon said with a small frown on his face.
"Text her and have her meet us here", Bryan suggested.
Damon immediately jumped out of the pond and dryed off his hands to text her. "Done, she'll be here in twenty minutes", he said with a giant smile on his face, he ran on top of the rock wall and jumped in.
Carson pulled up in her car twenty minutes later with a few giant bags.
"Hey guys!" She said very enthusiastically.
"What are those bags for babe?" Damon asked curiously.
"I brought blankets and pillows because I thought we could maybe send the night?" She said, sounding unsure of her decision.
"Amazing idea!" Alex squealed.
She gave me a quick kiss of the cheek then jumped out of my arms. They greeted each other and started setting up blankets and pillows for later.
