-Rule Number One-
Tori Miller
"Baby, please! My parents won't be home," Pleaded a jock named Michael. I stopped abruptly causing him to run into me, before turning on my heels to face him.
"Listen, baby, I already have plans for this weekend. Maybe some other time." I said shooting him a smile before walking away to English.
"Tori! You come back here right now!" I heard Quinn's voice behind me. I slowed my pace down so she could catch up.
"Hey, love. What's up?" I asked smiling.
"What's this about you and Jack hooking up?!" Her eyes furrowed. My eyes widened in shock.
"I didn't hook up with him! You know I'd never do that to you! Who told you that?!" I questioned, looking around the hallway.
"Angel Dunn," She sighed looking at the ground. I ran a hand through my hair before excusing myself.
Jack was Quinn's brother and he certainly wasn't someone I'd want on my long list of boys. He was sweet and all that, but he was like my own brother. I didn't think of him as someone I'd take advantage of. Walking down the hallway, away from English I searched for the familiar blonde headed girl.
"Angel!" I shouted when I spotted her talking to Flinn Cole. She turned at the sound of my voice a smirk played on her lips.
"You told Q I slept with her brother?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"Well, it wouldn't surprise me. Plus you two are always together. Has he gotten you whipped, Victoria?" She asked raising a perfectly plucked eyebrow.
I know what I'd like to pluck.
I glared at her, "Maybe you should find out the truth before you spread rumors. They spread as fast as your legs." I spat, before turning and finally heading to English.
"Ms. Miller, deciding to join us today?" Mr. Levi asked. I shot him an apologetic smile.
"Sorry, had to clear the air with someone," I explained and sat in my seat in the back. Gregor Kale sat beside me as well as Trevor Williams. In front of me Abigail Preston sat, her long brunette hair always ends up at my desk.
"Hey, Abbi?" I whispered leaning forward. She glanced at me for a second, leaning back to hear me as she returned her eyes on the board. It's what we did when we wanted to talk. Abigail was a good friend of mine, believe it or not. "Your hair is on my desk again," I said chuckling. She nodded and pulled it to one side of her head.
I sighed happily laying my notebook on my desk and starting to write down today's notes. We were starting a section on Hansel and Gretel, so I couldn't say I was very excited.
After forty-five minutes of sitting in class, it was lunch time. I grabbed my stuff hurrying towards the doors of the cafeteria. I gathered up a bowl of pasta, a breadstick, and a small carton of the schools chocolate milk before paying and walking to my table.
I sat in the typical place, with the 'populars'. Everyone knew me depending on their reasoning, so I was considered popular. I smiled as I sat down beside Quinn. She was the captain of the cheer squad, so naturally, she'd sit here.
When I was still in primary school I cheered but now I had been focusing on other things.
"Ah, Connor, my man!" Drew Matthews asked. I peered up at the dirty blonde headed boy. He and I have never really associated unless we were in a group conversation. But I did know of him.
Connor Phillips, the son of Roger Phillips, owner of Phillips & Co. He was considered the Bad Boy at Pressmen. He was always in detention for one thing or another. Naturally, two 'players' would be best friends, right? Not us. He made his work noticeable as mine was always subtle. He liked when people gave him looks of disapproval, I wasn't a fan.
We had one thing in common and that was: Sex.
We didn't care about others feelings we just wanted to please ourselves. We hurt people left and right and didn't think twice. We're like the opposite sexes of each other.
I shifted in my seat as I stabbed my fork into my noodles.
"Why didn't you call me?" I heard from behind me. I turned an eyebrow up looking Douglas up and down. He had a stern expression on his face as he watched me.
"Priorities," I said calmly and turned away.
"I thought we had something," He went on. I looked up at the people around the table all of them trying to hide their laughter.
"Sweetie, I don't have somethings with people. I have flings with people. There's a difference." I stated and finished my last bite of pasta before moving onto my breadstick.
"I don't believe you." He said.
I scoffed, "Well it's true."
"Prove it."
I rose a challenging eyebrow before turning to the boy who sat beside me, Jesse Wilson and kissed him. His tongue slipped into my mouth as I parted my lips. Our tongues fought for dominance. Abruptly I pulled away and turned toward my lunch, not saying or looking back at Douglas.
"Wow, you certainly have your handles on boys," Connor said. I rolled my eyes.
"And you're any better?" I questioned.
He shrugged, "Depends on who you're asking." He smirked and took a bite of his sandwich. I rolled my eyes standing up and holding my tray.
"I'd like to think I'd get the same response from every girl here at Pressmen," I replied with a smirk of my own.
"But not you, love." He stated finishing his sandwich. I rolled my eyes and left the table.
"Ah, for now!" I called over my shoulder and winked at a kid sitting at another table I passed.
I had a free period next, so I'd probably end up at the library to work on my Health project. Walking down the hall, I popped a piece of gum into my mouth and smiled evilly.
Watch out, Mr. Phillips.
Sitting down at one of the chairs, I pulled my phone out.
'Guess I have a use for you now.'
I typed into the message and sent it, before pulling out my books and starting on the project.
This'll be an interesting challenge.
