Groggily, I push my self off the floor, head pounding. Grasping for something to hold on to. Where the fudge am i? Slowly, i take in my surroundings. All I see for miles is sand. Golden sand.

Using a lone tree that is nearby for support, I stand up, my legs shaking from the exertion. I look down wondering why that took so much effort. When i catch a glimpse of my legs, I gasp. The whole of my legs are covered in bumps, blood and cuts.

I turn around trying to get my bearings. How did I end up in a desert? Leading erratically away from me are scuffed tyre marks. They look quite old. I must have been unconscious for quite some time. No hope of following the tracks then. I slump down; back against the tree, wondering why this has happened to me.

Just last night ( at least i think it was last night ) I was a a bible reading. I was a devout Catholic and went church every Sunday. I believe that Jesus is our saviour.  That's it! Pray, He will get me out of this. I start reciting the Lord's Prayer feverently, over and over again. After 10 repetitions, I stop. I can hear noises. Tiny clicking noises. I jump up from the tree and start limping around trying to locate the source of the sound. After a while i stop. It is useless. I may as well start moving, so i can get somewhere. Pusing on through the pain in my legs i walk forwards. On and on and on and on. After what feels like 10 minutes, I see black spots in front of my eyes and fall grdually back to the ground. I land with a thump and the last thing i see before i black out is a black figure looming over me.
