Thorin kicks Bernly's door open with no hesitation. "My apologies Bernly but it's urgent...Edlyn is in extreme pain."

"Oh...no...no, Master Thorin it's quite all right I was just reading practice's." I hear a book shut. "Lay her down." I start sliding out of Thorin's arms but I grab his hand.

"Promise me Thorin...you will not tell my father of this situation?" He nods.

"You have my word..." I let go of his hand. Mr. Bernly then rolls me over on my good side.

"Master Thorin, help me get the dress off of her. It's constricting her body too tightly!" That's the last thing I remember until my eyes pop open in the morning. I look down at the beautiful flowing blush pink gown I am now in. I feel something wrapped around my mid-section for support. It actually doesn't hurt to breathe since I have something supporting me.

I slide out of bed walking across the room and slowly open the door. It must be extremely early but then I see Thorin walk down the hall. I open the door all the way revealing myself. His attention turns is now on me. "Did you um...dress me?" He strokes his perfectly cut mustache and beard.

"I had no choice. Thought that was your color, it use to be my mother's you're about as tall as her."

"Wait, so are you telling me that you saw me...nude?" I ask starting to become nervous. He drops his head and lets out a sigh.

"Forgive me...Edlyn. I just thought maybe you'd like to be a bit more comfortable, instead of waking up in a torn dress."

"Actually...I wouldn't have like that much. Thank you Thorin for being so generous to me, especially last night."

"Anything for a guest." He gives a smirk, then walks down another hallway. My heart is all but dancing now. I know I'm starting to grow on this clean cut dwarf prince. He can be compassionate but he can also be sort of a nuisance. I smile when I see my father coming down the hallway. I run to him and throw my arms around him.

"How are you feeling?" He asks.

"Actually, pretty good."

"Good enough to leave today?" My heart quickly sinks, I've fallen completely in love with the kingdom Erebor. Which suddenly brings my mind to the conversation with Balin last night.

"I don't know...you heard they were trying to get a new serving girl..."

"Oh, Ed...leaving Dale?"

"Dad I'd come to visit..." He smirks a little.

"I wouldn't have a problem with it, in fact I want you to get out and explore Middle Earth." He looks around. "Starting here would be great Ed." My heart melts inside me, I feel the guilt start to fill my stomach as well. Leaving my father...Milly...Ardy? Is this a good choice to make? I'd even be leaving Cindy behind. Dwarves are not our business...I should return to Dale with my father even though I'd like to figure out what makes Thror so sick. That isn't any of my business either.

"I don't know...I'll get around someday father. I'd rather be with my friends and family." My dad smiles and places his hand on my cheek pulling me too him.

"Lyn...you're just like your mother, she always wanted to do something new but could never bring herself to it. My eyes water a little bit because his voice becomes shaky as he speaks. He then presses his lips to my forehead. When he pulls away he turns around and leaves. I notice Thorin looking around the corner, his eyes quickly drop. He then rounds the corner and goes back the way my father came from. Wonder how much he heard? That's when I decide to follow him.
