I do not own any of The Avenger characters only the ones I created myself.

"You know that we're only putting you in here for your own good, Adeline," Fury said as they closed the glass dome.

"Yeah, I've heard the rant before. You're a danger to yourself therefore you're a danger to others," I recited the speech I had heard so many times before.

You might be wondering what I'm talking about or how I could be a danger or what made me a danger. Well you see, I'm not an ordinary girl, shit, even if I was I don't think I would be normal. But anyways back to what I was saying. When I was younger I discovered I had powers. You know like the stuff you hear in the superhero comics? Yeah, that kind of powers. So anyways I was staying at an orphanage which is a whole other backstory but I'll get to that later. Not too many people knew I had powers but the ones that did definitely made fun of me for it. They would call me a freak and other mean names. Finally I had enough of it and got in a fight with one of the bullies and then I ran away from the orphanage. At the time I had only known of my technopathy power.

So there I was, young Adeline Taylor, living out on the streets at the age of eleven and I did for about a year but I can't remember most of what happened the next thing I remember from leaving the orphanage was when some Shield agents had found me. I had trouble trusting them at first but then they took me to their base where I met the director who put me in the what I like to call super kids program which was a program, like I said, for super kids. They taught us all about our powers and how to control them during the year before Shield I also had discovered that I could fly another one of my many abilities. I met my best friend, Vivian who was the same age as I was. She had the ability to teleport and create force fields.

We were in the program until I became a field agent and learned how to use weapons and all sorts of stuff and that's when I discovered my most recent power and what seemed to be the most dangerous, mind control. The Shield scientists couldn't figure out why I had multiple powers since what seemed to be their average was around one or two but to have more than that was a lot. I had never met my parents so I didn't know if it was in my genes or not. They had asked me what happened during the year before they found me but as hard as I tried I couldn't remember. But either way I seemed to be fine I mean I was already abnormal just a bit more than the others I guess.

So for the next six years I was a weapons specialist for Shield one of the best if I do say so myself. Vivian went on to be a field agent which I really wanted to do but they only used me when they need to get into somewhere they couldn't, to keep a look out or to mind control people. But that brings me to where I am now in the glass dome. As powerful as I was I had a lot of enemies and people that were afraid of me and my abilities. It was mostly the mind control that some of the agents felt uncomfortable that I had the power to control them even though I never used it unless I absolutely had to. But as I said they mainly used me as a tool to get into people's minds only when they wanted me to. It's funny how I was brought here because I was an outcast only to become an outcast in my own kind.

So here I was in the anti-power glass dome on a helicarrier somewhere in the middle of the ocean.

"We have food!" Vivian announced with Nat bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Thank god!" I said standing up from my bed.

"Woah, you actually have a bed!" Natasha said sarcastically. Natasha also known as Nat, Agent Romanoff or most likely known as Black Widow.

Vivian and I met her and her partner Clint Barton also know as Hawkeye when we were in training since they were our teachers.

"I know, I'm in the luxury suite," I laughed as they slid the bag in through a small tube thing since they couldn't open the door or I would be "at risk."

"How you doing, Remy?" Vivian asked using my code name well my actual code name was Reminiscent but she used Remy for short.

"Oh, I'm just peachy!" I smiled rolling my eyes as I opened the bag to reveal donuts.

"I'm sorry they put you through this Addie," Natasha sighed, "I've tried talking to Fury..."

"It's fine, I mean I guess I'm danger so I must be contained," I cut her off.

"But you should be allowed to live your life I mean you're twenty one and we didn't even get to take you out for your birthday," she answered as I took a bite of a donut.

"You think it's fun just hanging around Nat and Clint cause it's not," Vivian laughed as Natasha hit her in the shoulder.

We sat and chatted well the girls mostly talked about their day since I didn't do much. After about an hour they were paged to the front deck.

"We'll be back later," Vivian promised me before they both ran off leaving me sitting on the ground inside my cell by myself.

I sighed throwing myself on my bed staring up at the ceiling. I then paced the room back and forth looking for something to do. Finally I look out looking at walls where I find a security camera, "Yo, Fury! Someone! Can you please come in here for a minute?" I waved my hands knowing there was someone probably watching the security cameras. I repeated it a bit more before waiting a bit then the door to the room opened and in came Agent Coulson.

"You called?" He grinned.

"Oh Agent Phil Coulson, my favorite person in the world," I said getting up and walking over to the glass door.

"What do you want Adeline?" Coulson rolled his eyes.

"I'm bored!" I whined, "I'm not asking much, I just want something to do."

"You've only been in here four hours," he crossed his arms across his chest.

"But I'm bored," I whined smushing my face to the glass.

"Alright, alright. Stop complaining. I'll find something for you to do," Phil smiled before walking out of the room.

"Thank you!" I called as he left. About twenty minutes later Coulson came back with a desk filled with electronics to build guns.

"Okay, go sit on the bed and don't move. If you try anything I'll take all this away," he threatened.

I nodded sitting on the bed as he opened the door to the cell rolling the desk into the corner and leaving shutting the door behind him, "Thanks AC!" I said running over to the desk sitting down. I waved my hands in front of it but nothing happened. Phil started to leave, "Coulson! I can't use my technopathy in here! What am I supposed to do with this?" I yelled after him.

"Not my problem," he turned back towards me as he left with his hands in the air.

"I hate you!" I shouted then looked at what was in front of me. I could build this but you see when your so use to having technopathy constructing everything goes much slower than when you do have it. So I started wiring the gun together when I had finished I started doing push ups and sit ups. Usually when I was in a containment like this, which was most of the time, I would work out and I'm pretty sure if I wasn't in here all the time I'd wouldn't be as in shape as I am so I guess there's one good thing out of this.

After a few more hours Vivian came back, "Viv!" I said excitedly as she walked into the room.

"Hey Addie, oh you got a desk!" She laughed.

"Yeah, Coulson brought me stuff to do even though I couldn't do much," I said as we sat in front of each other with the glass in between us, "So where are we now?"

"Still in the middle of the ocean, Fury, Coulson and Hill just left for a radiation detection in New Mexico," she answered, "Clint went with them too I believe."

"Where is Nat?" I asked.

"She went to some interrogation thing. She explained it to me but I forgot," Viv laughed.

"Of course you did," I said sarcastically.

"What's that supposed to mean?" She grinned.

We both laughed and talked for awhile before Vivian had to leave to go to bed. Sometimes she would camp out outside my cell in a sleeping bag and we would stay up most of the night. But tomorrow she had a mission so she didn't want to be sleep deprived for that. The lights dimmed throughout the hellicarrier as everyone went to bed and I sat laying down staring up at ceiling like all the other nights I had and slowly let sleep overtake me.
