"Nothing is going according to plan." Naya sighed to her sister. "If I had known the plan wouldn't work out, I would have listened to mom and dad." Saira regretted.
"So now what?" Naya asked, looking at her sister, who looked equally upset as her. "Well, I'm not going to waste my whole life. Dad said he could do something better for me." She explained.
"So we're just going to pretend that Saad bhai never happened?" She asked her sister again.
"You know the only reason dad agreed in the first place was because of Ibrahim Industry, but Saad got nothing, and Mustafa is not an option, so what do we do now?" Saira responded.
"Well, api. If that's your final decision." Naya said. Saira nodded. "My things are all packed. Call the drivers over to pick them up." Saira said as she got up to finish packing the little of her things left.
As Saad pulled up the drive way. He saw his wife and sister in law walking towards their car.
He frowned, confused about what was happening. He rushed over to his wife before she got into the car.
"Saira? What's going on?" He asked, quickly trying to hold her hand. She jerked away, creating space between them. "I'm leaving." She replied emotionlessly.
"What?" He asked in confusion and disbelief. "You heard me. We were only married because you were the grandson of Khaild Ibrahim, but what we really didn't know was that you weren't his real grandson, and on top of that you aren't part of his inheritance." She replied.
"But Saira, why does all of that matter now. We've been married for almost 2 years." He tried excusing, trying to stop her leaving.
She sarcasticly laughed. "And what will happen now? You have nothing. Your business flopped, and your brother doesn't want to see you. You can't do anything, so who'll care for me?" She asked.
"Listen, Saira. I'll work hard, just stay with me." He plead her to stay.
"Saad. Dad said the final decision is up to me, but I really wished I had already listened to him before marrying you." She sighed, looking at him.
"But now, I don't want to make any decisions that might impact my future. I have a whole life ahead of me." She said.
"I gave you many chances... many chances to get something for us. I even tried setting up Mustafa and Naya. But you messed that up, too. There were so many opportunities, so many chances to trap him. Heck the day Naya spiked his drink at the dinner." She spoke.
"We were this close to frame his wife with Faraz." She sighed. "But you couldn't properly do anything.
"And maybe you're just pathetic." She finished saying. "Don't contact me again, I have nothing to say." She said as she turned to her car.
"What about us?" He finally asked, clasping her hand. "My lawyer will be contact with you soon about that." She replied as she slipped into the car.
Saad watched as the car left the house and disappeared. He couldn't believe what happend. In just a few moments, everyhting from him had been ruined.
