"again." i scoffed. this wasn't the first time the neighbor's mail got mixed up with ours. "do you want me to go give it to them?" i spoke into my phone.

"if you don't mind, sweetie. i won't be home until after 7 tonight." my mom sighed.

"it's okay, mom. i'll see you later, bye!" i said before hanging up the phone. i grabbed the mail glancing down at the address and made my way down the street.

i got to the address and walked up to the front door. i knocked and stood there waiting for a minute before a guy opened the door. he leaned against the door frame wearing a white tee and sweatpants hanging low on his waist. His arms were crossed against his chest. "hello?"

"i live over there and we keep getting your mail," i held it out to him, "here. if i get your mail again, i'll just bring it over." i smiled before i began to walk away.

"wait, i didn't catch your name."

"i didn't throw it."

hello everyone! this is my first fanfic so i'm hoping it goes well. i have literally written so much different intros and first chapters for this story and changed around some details, but i have decided on what i wanted. this is only the intro so of course it's going to be short. i'll probably have the first chapter up in a day or so.
