Yoongi arrived at the company, stepping into the grand lobby of Min Enterprises. Employees greeted him respectfully, and he nodded in acknowledgment, his usual intimidating aura settling in. His father was already waiting for him in his office.
"Glad to see you on time," Mr. Min said, eyeing his son with approval.
"Of course. I take things seriously." Yoongi replied, taking a seat.
His father nodded. "Good. From today, you'll start by observing how things work. I expect you to learn quickly."
"I will," Yoongi said confidently.
The day passed with Yoongi attending meetings, going through reports, and learning about the company's operations. It was exhausting, but he pushed through. However, amidst all the business talks, his mind kept drifting back to Jimin.
Meanwhile, Jimin was at university, attending classes and tutoring Jihoon. During lunch, Taehyung nudged him. "You seem distracted. Thinking about Yoongi Hyung?"
Jimin blushed. "N-No! I was just..."
Taehyung smirked. "You don't have to lie. It's cute how whipped you are."
Jimin pouted. "I'm not whipped."
Jihoon chuckled. "You are. And Hyung is even worse."
Jimin sighed, shaking his head, but he couldn't deny that he missed Yoongi already.
When university ended, Jimin walked outside, expecting to take the bus, but as Yoongi promised, a black luxury car was parked near the entrance. The driver stepped out. "Mr. Jimin, Sir sent me to pick you up."
Jimin sighed, knowing there was no point in arguing. "Alright..."
Back at the mansion, Yoongi was already home, loosening his tie as he sat in his bedroom. The moment he heard Jimin enter the cottage, he grabbed his phone and called him.
Jimin picked up immediately. "You're home?"
Yoongi smirked. "Missed me?"
Jimin rolled his eyes, but his heart fluttered. "Maybe."
Yoongi chuckled. "Come to my room."
Jimin hesitated. "Right now?"
"Now."
With a deep breath, Jimin made his way to the mansion, knocking softly before entering. Yoongi was leaning against the wall, arms crossed. The moment he saw Jimin, his expression softened.
"How was your day?" Jimin asked, stepping closer.
"Tiring." Yoongi pulled Jimin into his arms, burying his face in his hair. "But now, it's better."
Jimin smiled, hugging him back. "Mine too."
They stayed like that for a while, wrapped in each other's warmth, the world outside forgotten.
