It felt just like a normal day to Sam Winchester. It didn't feel like the day after he turned 18, like it actually was. He woke up, feeling the same as usual, not any older or like a legal adult. But as soon as the thought hit him once he woke up, he couldn't help but smile widely. Time for a change. A big change.

The brunette shot out of his bed and padded over to his dresser where he pulled out two mason jars filled with money from underneath all of his socks and underwear. The money that was contained in the jars was slowly being collected throughout Sam's middle school and high school years from his jobs and yard work he did around his town for this year. The year he could finally move out and away from this town and father.

He quickly hid the jars back in the drawer and got out his clothes for the day. He already worked his last day of work a couple of days ago so he didn't have a deadline to adhere to. Just a date with his boyfriend for going on two years now, Castiel Novak. He just didn't want his brother, Dean to see the jars. He would flip if he new that he was going to leave and especially with all of that money he's been hiding from him for years.

"Sammy! Just because yesterday was your birthday doesn't mean you can sleep in today. You're going to be late for work!" His older brother called through the wood of his bedroom door, causing Sam to jump slightly at the sudden loud sound. He never told Dean he quit his job at the local bowling alley. That job was actually pretty recent, too.

"I won't! I'm just gonna ride my bike to work, today!" Sam called back and slid on a pair of jeans, along with the Thor: Earth's Mightiest Hero t-shirt Castiel bought him last year for his birthday. He loves that shirt. He quickly ran a comb through his longish brown hair and puffed one short spritz of cologne over him before walking out of his bedroom and heading down the stairs. He noticed that his father was in the living room, watching some old western. Dammit. He's supposed to be gone on a hunting trip for the next few days.

Sam tried as quietly as possible to sneak behind the man to get out the front door. He succeeded, barely, and ran out with a silent cheer of joy. He jumped in his deep hunter green bicycle and peddled his way to he and his boyfriend's secret meeting place (a secluded pavilion in the middle of the woods they found while taking a walk together). He was surprised to see that the shorter man had already beat him to it.

"Casserole!" He called gleefully and let his bike fall to the ground, running over to bring the other in his arms, causing him to gasp which soon turned into laughter.

"You went back to that nickname?" He giggled again and curled his arms around the taller one's neck. "That means I should still be able to call you Sammich."

"Nooo. Sammich sounds weird." Sam laughed and kissed the darker brunette's forehead, letting his arms loosen and dip down to around his hips.

"And Casserole doesn't?"

"Nope. It's adorable."

"Whatever you want to think." Castiel laughed softly again before pulling Sam down into a kiss. It was short but full admiration. After it broke off, the two men just looked into each other's eyes for a brief moment before both smiling widely. This tend to happen a lot.

"So, what did you want to talk about?"

"The plan."

"What pla- oh. That plan." Castiel looked down nervously, his smile deflating and bit his bottom lip.

"Yeah. It's finally going to happen, Cas. We can finally get away from here. I can go to Stanford like I've always wanted to and you can start your art career. Everything is finally falling into place." Sam's voice was full if excitement. He didn't even seen to notice that Castiel didn't look like his was feeling the same way.
