The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the room. Jimin stirred slightly, his body naturally seeking out warmth. His cheek was pressed against Yoongi's chest, the steady rise and fall of his breathing soothing against his ear.
Yoongi was already awake, his fingers tracing lazy patterns on Jimin's bare shoulder. He looked down at the smaller man in his arms, his heart swelling at the sight. Jimin looked peaceful, his face relaxed in sleep, lips slightly parted.
Yoongi couldn't resist leaning down to press a gentle kiss to Jimin's forehead. The touch made Jimin stir, his lashes fluttering as he slowly woke up. He let out a soft, sleepy hum, snuggling closer into Yoongi's warmth.
"Morning, baby," Yoongi murmured, his voice still husky from sleep.
Jimin nuzzled against his chest before tilting his head up to meet Yoongi's gaze. "Morning, Hyung," he whispered, his voice laced with drowsiness.
Yoongi chuckled, tucking a strand of Jimin's messy hair behind his ear. "Did you sleep well?"
Jimin nodded, his fingers absentmindedly tracing circles on Yoongi's chest. "Mmm... yeah. I feel much better."
Yoongi smirked. "You sure? You were pretty worn out last night."
Jimin's face immediately turned red, and he smacked Yoongi's chest lightly. "Hyung! Don't say that!"
Yoongi only laughed, wrapping his arms tighter around Jimin. "What? I'm just making sure my baby is okay."
Jimin pouted but buried his face in Yoongi's chest, hiding his embarrassment.
A few moments of comfortable silence passed before Jimin lifted his head again. "Hyung, don't you have work today?"
Yoongi groaned, tightening his hold around Jimin. "I don't want to go."
Jimin giggled, attempting to wiggle out of his embrace. "You have to, though."
Yoongi sighed dramatically before leaning in to press a soft, lingering kiss on Jimin's lips. "Fine. But only if you promise to stay in bed and rest."
Jimin rolled his eyes playfully. "I'm not sick, Hyung. I can move around just fine."
Yoongi narrowed his eyes. "You're still sore, aren't you?"
Jimin bit his lip, avoiding eye contact. He wasn't going to admit it, but Yoongi could see right through him.
"That's what I thought," Yoongi said smugly, placing another kiss on Jimin's forehead before reluctantly sitting up. "I'll get ready quickly and come back before dinner, okay?"
Jimin nodded, watching as Yoongi stretched and got out of bed. His eyes followed Yoongi as he moved around the room, gathering his clothes.
Just before heading into the bathroom, Yoongi turned to Jimin with a smirk. "Don't miss me too much, baby."
