3rd person POV
Clarisse looked at Chiron, shocked. "The labyrinth?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "Yes" He said and nodded solemnly. "And that," Chiron continued, "is why I want you to go on a scouting quest to try and find out why." Clarisse nods as he finishes "is there a prophecy?" She asks, wishing there wont be one, but seeing her luck of getting into this mess she suspected there would be one. Chiron simply shakes his head and Clarisse breathes out a sigh of relief.
'Thank the gods' Clarisse thought, 'I wouldn't want a prophecy hanging over my head as I explore the labyrinth, of all places in the world." However, she knew the prophecy could come at any point, even in the quest, which probably scared Clarisse more than anything.
"when will I be leaving?" Clarisse asks, snapping out of her train of thought. She decided she would need to pack and plan as soon as she could, as she knew there would be a difficult trip ahead of her. "At the latest, tomorrow afternoon" Chiron replied and Clarisse simply nodded.
"Better go and plan then" She says, starting to head back down the corridor. But Chiron calls after her "Clarisse wait, one thing" he says, wheeling his chair after her. She turns around, a bit confused as to why he asked her to stop when he said "please visit Chris before you leave. I know it doesn't seem like it, but he really loved having you around" looking up at her.
Clarisse wanted to roll her eyes at that, as she knew there was no way Chris liked her, he was always having a fit whenever she was around. But she didn't want to sadden Chiron so she nodded "okay, ill see him now." She replied, going back into his room, dreading what would happen.
