Write a mini story (300 words or less) Using these words: Paper Clips, Principal, Lunchbox, Swing, Girl with pink ribbons
I drop down on my bed. It was always one of the greatest parts of my day. Finishing work and getting to do nothing for the next few hours. Just dream of the girl with the pink ribbons.
Growing up I was what most people might call a trouble maker. Putting gum in girls hair, pulling people's chairs before they sat, mocking the teacher. I was official class clown, and I never really grew out of that at 26. The only times I was good was around that girl with the pink ribbons.
Even as a six year old boy I knew that she was the most enchanting person i'd ever see in my life. Those blonde curly locks, her breathtaking smile, her angel-like voice and that pink string of ribbon. She brought it every day. She wore it in her hair, around her wrist, she'd even tie it to her lunchbox some days. I looked for that little pink ribbon everyday like my life depended on it.
I still remember the first day she realized I was born. I was in fifth grade and we were at recess. I was climbing through trees with my friends and she was on the swings with hers. My best friend and I were shooting rubber bands at people trough the leaves with our invention. Bend a paper clip into a S and use it as a firing mechanism. It was all fun until there was a misfire and our principal ended up with a bright green rubber band on her forehead. So of course we all laughed and were immediately got caught. And as we made our "walk of shame" I looked over and saw the girl with pink ribbons smiling right at me.
