You Promised Me Forever (Memories Book 1 sequel)

Hey Everybody! This is a sequel For Memories! It's mostly about Kevin and Calia.

Kevin and I had been friends since we were still babies. My mom had met Carla from her college at Ohio  and they've been bestfriends ever since.

I took a handful of grapes and start doing smoothies for me,Kevin and Jeremiah. They had come to my house and slept over for summer. 

"Calia!" a 7 year old Kevin shouted.

"Wu-hawt?" Calia whined.She was 5 years old.

"Your momma is calling you. I don't want you to go yet," Kevin said; his face turning sad.

Calia had grabbed Kevin's hand and went to the back of the house.

"Shh," Calia said as they sat on the grass. 

"Will you come back again, Calia?" Kevin said.

"I pwo-mise i will, Keffin," she said.

"Best friends forever?" Kevin said; holding out his pinky at Calia.

"Best fwens fo-ever," they pinky-promised.

I smiled at the memory. We had promised with each other. Memories kept coming inside my head. But i shook them away for awhile as i walked out towards Kevin and Jeremiah who were sitting by the pool. 

"Thanks, Lia," they said. 

We were having our holiday for a month. I had called Tasha Edwards to come over. 

She was an old friend from secondary school. We saw her walking by the sidewalk to our house.

She wore a pair of white shorts and black tank top. She has brown hair tied in a ponytail and bright blue eyes.

"Tasha!" I ran to the gate; opening it and hugging her. "Missed you so much!" we started jumping around and hugging each other.

"Stop jumping and introduce her to us. Jeremiah looks like he's gonna burst in blush," Kevin said; winking at me as we laughed.

"This is Tasha Edwards. Tasha, Kevin and Jeremiah. Kevin and Jeremiah, Tasha," I said; smiling.

"Um, hey Kevin. Hey, Jeremy," she blushed as she said Jeremiah's name. They both looked like couples. Cute  shy couples. 

Jeremiah and Tasha looked like they had gotten along well with each other. 

We started talking about things. Actually about everything that's in our life. I know right? What a long conversation.

"Oh,sugarplum," Tasha said; looking at her watch." I've to get back home before night falls. And it's already nighttime," we all looked at her. " Sugarplum?" Jeremiah said. " You mean shi-," Kev start to say the word but the look on her face made him stopped. 

"It's her habit," i said; explaining to the guys. "Oh," was the only respond i got from them. 

"Jeremiah, can you go send her home? She got here by bus," i said; as if that's logical. In truth, i just want them to be together. They're cut out for the same cloth. "Huh? Oh, never mind, it's okay," Tasha said. I looked at her; saying,'' Do you want to get ravaged? It's dangerous," i  said as Jeremiah blushed. They agreed at last . As soon as we said goodbye to Tasha and watched Jeremiah and her drove away, Kevin and me highfived. 

"C'mon, let's watch TV. There's gonna be Letters To Juliet on," Kevin said; putting his arm around my shoulder as we walked into the house.

Calia and her brother were fighting over the remote control one day.

"Give it to me!" Calia shouted at Calvin.

"No!" he stick out his tongue and hid the remote control behind his back.

Calia cried and went to her room. She had been crying for an hour and no one could do anything to persuade her.

Suddenly there's a knock at the door. Once. Three times. Twice.

 Calia went to open the door and saw Kevin standing in the doorway."Calia," he started to say.

"My bwo-der took the we-mote cont-wol fwom me," Calia sobbed. Kevin took her outside and into the living room. "Calvin, can you switch to Dora the Explorer?" Kevin said. "But," Calvin started to say. "Please," Kevin said. " Okay, okay," he said; irritated.

I smiled as i remembered that memory. Me and Kevin watched TV until midnight. Jeremiah had only gotten back home then. He'd took her to dinner on the way. " Had fun?" i said as i heard him come into the house. Jeremiah just laughed and went upstairs, saying goodnight to both of us. 

We continued to watch TV until we fell asleep on the couch.

I woke up the next morning; Kevin hugging me.  I lift his hand off from my waist. I smiled.

I shook Kevin gently. He opened his eyes; adjusting to the brightness of the sun. "Good morning, Kev," i said, smiling.
