The Pineapple Kingdom

Chapter 1

One day Helena was trying to stuff a dead raccoon into her locker for lunch, when a swarm of emu's rushed by her and carried her off. Helena struggled against the army of 1,000 emus, but she was no match for them. When they finally put her down 10 minutes later she was in the land of the Woodland Artichoke Demons. The King Artichoke Demon rose from his throne, and said in a terrible demonic voice "only you know where the Pineapple Kingdom is located!" Helena looked at him confused as emus and artichoke demons ate misplaced bananas together. "Actually, I don't know where the Pineapple Kingdom is, I've only been there once, and Phill was the one who took me there," Helena said with a sigh. 

"Blasphemy! Blasphemy I say, and who is this... Phill you speak of?" "Phill died two months ago," said Helena sadly. "I don't know of anyone else who knows the Pineapple Kingdom's whereabouts." The King Artichoke Demon was not satisfied with this answer. "You lie, you lie! You calamitous child." Helena smiled, "Yes, I know I lie, but why do you need to know where the Pineapple Kingdom is? What sort of evil are you up to." "Evil? I am up to no evil, I simply want to visit the Pineapple Temple, that is all. Now TELL ME HOW TO GET THERE!" Helena stared into his cold, Woodland Artichoke Demon eyes. "I know that you're up to no good," Helena said as she pointed at an emu munching on a misplaced banana "because of that terrible omen. Misplaced bananas only appear when there is evil lingering in the air. Such as the day of the birth of Calvin Black," said Helena.  

The King Artichoke Demon stared at her in disbelief. "Nooooooo!!!!!!!!!, my plan is ruined. Emus and Artichokes... Attack!!!!!" All at once, thousands of Artichokes and emus charged at her. She would have been killed if Caitlin and Emily had not stepped out from behind a tree yielding really sharp pencils. "Mweeeaaaaaaaaaw!!!" They both screamed as they ran into battle. Together, Helena, Caitlin, and Emily defeated the Emu Army and the rest of the Woodland Artichoke Demons. "Phill is alive!" Caitlin whispered as the three of them raced out of the ancient forest.

Chapter 2

The trio ran to the battered jeep waiting for them on the side of the dirt road that bordered Artichoke Forest. They all climbed in. Before Helena could sit down. Emily thrust her foot down onto the gas pedal, and they zoomed off. "What do you mean Pill is alive?" Where are we going now?" "Can someone explain to me what is going on?"Helena asked with just the slightest hint of worry in her voice. "Just wait you'll see!" Caitlin shouted over the loud humming of the jeep. They traveled up a familiar, steep, rocky path, Helena realized where her friends were taking her; Carl's place. A while later, they pulled up to Carl's Cafe and Bakeshop. Helena wearily clambered out of the jeep, and darted into the restaurant. Standing before her, was her fiancee, Phill. Helena forgot about her long, and tiring day. She ran up to Phill and put her arms around him. He wound his long, fury neck around her. "You really are alive," Helena whispered into Phill's llama ear.
