Chapter 4

I was awakened by the loud sound of the teacher up front. Finally over, I honestly felt like killing myself.
It turned out that Cam also had to stay after school. For what reason i had no idea. But she said she needed my car so i decided to give he my keys.

I placed my headphones in and was off for the walk of a lifetime. I was in the middle of listening to JB (don't judge me, he honestly has good music.)

Until a Black camaro pulled up. The same one I saw this morning. With none other then the devil himself.... the kid next door. The guy who whispered in my ear this morning.

He was basically the average cliche bad boy that I guessed he was this morning. Fast car, gorgeous face and bad attitude. I mean don't get me wrong he is gorgeous. But he really takes too much pride in it from what i could tell

But who am I to judge . I would never be able to do the stuff he does. Like ever.
He interrupted my train of thought with his voice.

"So baby girl we meet again." He did have such a memorizing voice. So firm husky and sexy.

I stood there and just looked at him. Its not everyday a guy just comes up to me and talks to me. Unless we had like a project to do.

And when I continued to ignore him he then decided that it would be a great idea to honk at me to gain my attention.

I don't like loud noises or talking to people out of my circle so when he honked my first instinct was to scream.

"Hey! Um can you hear me?"

I may not talk to many people, but if you want respect you actually have to give some to get some in my opinion.

"Hey"

"Get in!Since we do live extremely close why not give you a ride."

I couldn't say no. I mean I did have a lot left to walk so why not. What's it going to hurt. When i got in I noticed another one of Katelyn's minions walking past. What was with all this.

When I walked in I instantly heard the voices of two unhappy people.

The whole car ride his head seemed to be suck in his phone. It was none of my business, but i was curious.

"You better have a great explanation for that cars of yours young lady."

That was all I heard when I walked through the door. I didn't know what he was doing but i think that i have figured it out. I didn't expect it to be my parents he was talking to.

"And where were you after school? You told no one where you were going. You didn't me any notice!"

They kept questioning me with questions that I did have the answer to. They just kept talking and wouldn't allow me to speak my mind. My face instantly turned red from all the tension in the room.

"I got ...." That was the only that came out of mouth before I was interrupted.

"Oh I must have given you the wrong information Mr. and Mrs. Warren. Please let me explain. Me and Alex here he said while squeezing my arm went out for ice cream. And i simply forgot to inform you on this information. I am so sorry." He then nudged my arm. Was that an indication for me to speak?

"Alex is this information accurate?"I rubbed the back of neck and nodded.

"Sadly it is mom. I'm so sorry I forgot to call."

"That still doesn't explain the car."

"Oh I was willing to drive ,so I drove her here." He said this while squeezing my arm.

"I told her to give her the keys to someone she trust. You know her best friend Cam And Cam should be dropping it off a little later. We didn't expect to be here so late I'm sorry. My fault."

I said nothing as he was giving this amazing lie of an excuse for my car being gone. My parents couldn't actually be buying this, I mean me and this kid dont even know each other. I mean he literally just moved next door.

I was stunned to see my parents letting me off the hook so easily.They said nothing at first. They looked at me and I simply told them that she should be here any minute.

"Next time you guys "go out" make sure your driving your own car, understood?"

"Yes ma'am" me and Dylan said at the same time.

My question with all of this is why is he so willing to help me out of trouble. Like I said we are not even friends and he is making it seem as if he cares or something. We just met.

"It seems as if me and your father have a business trip to attend and we won't be home for a while. Which means you and your brother will have the house yourselves. And don't start getting crazy ideas....not that you would sweetie. But we didn't know that you would be home so soon. so we were just going to give you a call."

But it didn't surprise me that my parents would just give a call to let me know that they were leaving. I mean this is always like them to do something like this.

"How long will you guys be gone for?" I ask

"That's the one thing that we do not know. Being a full time lawyer and having children is hard enough and I hope that you can make it through this time period of time without us and be a young adult about it. Not that we are worried about you.But we must be leaving now."

"Why so soon."

"Oh honey, we are so very sorry. But this case is very important to our company."

" We actually must leave now sweet heart. I know we are always gone, but you have to understand this is how we make a living and taking care of you guys."

I so shocked that I didn't say anything. I know they leave often but i always miss them when they leave.

"Oh and one more thing honey. We now know that there is no need to introduce you to our neighbors son. But his parents are also leaving as well and we have allowed him to stay in the guest room until we all get back.

"What?"

"okay honey we must leave now and please show him around and be of help to him in what he needs."

My mom walked out first and then my dad turned around and whispered in my ear.

"He is very important to our jobs. Make sure you do ass he says and be good to him."

I looked and noticed my father gone before i could say anything.

What the hell is going on with the world.

I heard the sound of the TV go off and noticed that Dylan Caleb was in fact still here. And my brother is no where and sight and I have no idea why.

Now what am I suppose to do with the bad boy?
