I dragged my self into my new side of campus they added to my school. My school isn't a typically "Public School" , is a college moderated High School. I live on campus and I have the basic dorm and breaks like college students. Walking on the path and looking to the right at the ocean and the sunrise. I heard someone ran begin me my first thought.. "An early morning runner" let me go ahead and move. I prepared to move out the way and they grabbed my shoulder and stopped running. I approached to a stop and turned around and looked at him.

" Hi ", I said confused as he tried to get back to his normal breath.

" Hey, I'm Jordan Smith.. I just transferred from Tampa High school.. I was wondering if you could guide me around today?", he asked me.

" Hello Jordan, my name is Olivia Johnson and sure I will be glad to I need the extra credit in my records.", I said making him notice how educate I sound compared to most African American females.

We began to walk to the Gym where I was headed because they school wanted us to have an assembly for our new students and new campus.

" Where are you from Olivia?", he asked wondering which part of the world I originated from.

" I was born and raised in Atlanta, but my dad is from Atlanta & my mom is from New Jersey. Now on the other hand as you can tell I'm African American , but I'm also Puerto Rican & Indian.", I said making me proud of my background.

" That's cool, guess we are both some southerners I was born and raised in Tampa. My dad is from Florida while my mom Chicago" , he said as we turned into the Gym.
