ROBIN'S ANGEL
CHAPTER TWO
Hannah sat in her room, thinking. She shared a mansion on Earth with Gabriel, and right now he was knocking on her door, but she was completely oblivious to that. Finally Gabe got fed up and called Balthazar. She always loved to see Balth, but she wouldn't this time. Gabe and Balthazar devised a plan to get her out of her room, and eventually decided on a string of elaborate pranks. Then they both decided that they should get Castiel in on the action. Balth called Cas and they set up the pranks.
"I don't know about this..." Cas scratched the back of his neck nervously. We all know he isn't one for pranks.
"Come on Cassy, live a little," Gabe laughed and ruffled Castiel's hair. Cas thought for a moment, then shrugged and gave a lopsided grin. With that, they started their prank. Holding up their guns, Gabe shouted, "Hannah! Get your lazy ass out here! Balth came to see you!" They didn't hear footsteps like they expected, but heard the flutter of wings behind them. Gabe felt himself being shoved, right into the trip wire, and then felt a bucket of paint being dumped on his head. Balthazar laughed at him while Cas did his famous head tilt, then they both got nailed in the head with paintballs. They gasped, turning around, seeing Hannah, smirking, wearing her signature leather jacket and knee high black converse. Along with red skinny jeans and a plaid shirt.
"You guys should really see your faces!" Hannah got out after she burst out laughing. Balthazar glared at her while Cas rubbed the back of his head, even though he didn't actually feel any pain. She rose an eyebrow at the boys. Gabe thought she didn't notice he flashed behind her with his water gun, and she sighed, turning around and shooting him in the chest with a paint ball. She smirked at the boys while she put a lollipop in her mouth. She then continued to laugh while throwing her arms around Cas and Balth's necks, giving them a hug. "Really wish I could stay but I gots to go! Battsy's calling!" she said as she flashed out.
The brothers exchanged looks and all shrugged, this was usual behavior of Hannah, staying, going, acting awesomely bad ass, so on so forth.
Hannah arrived at the cave, and looked around, seeing Bat and the kid team. She smiled at them and walked over, gasping as M'Gann tackled her with a hug. No matter how surprised Hannah hugged back, cause who can resist a hug? Once they separated Hannah threw her arms around Bat's neck, giving him a quick hug before looking at the team. Connor had a blank expression on. Robin was staring at her, she decided to ignore that. M'Gann was smiling like crazy while Artemis was smirking. Wally was also staring at me but he had a smirk on his face, unlike Robin who just seemed to be surprised. Kaldur was smiling kindly at her.
Hannah smiled at everyone, and they all looked at her expectantly. Like they were waiting for her to say something... Oh right! Duh! Her answer to the question. The question that will end all time if asked. The answer she had been running from her entire life. Hannah who? Okay I'll stop now.
"Well...?" Battsy asked. She smiled.
"Sure!" she responded. Everyone stared at her as if expecting more. "What? Did I have to prepare an entire acceptance speech or something?" she joked. Bat chuckled a little.
"Nope! But seriously! All we get is a sure?"
"Yep!" she stood on her tiptoes about to ruffle his hair when she realized he had his mask on. She sighed and slung her arm around his shoulder. "So? What's happening that's so bad that you need an angel?" she asked.
"Why don't you get to know the team first? Then you can go on your first mission," Bruce sighed. She nodded and plopped down on the couch in the lounge. Bruce left and the rest of the team sat down.
"Now... let's get to know each other," she said.
"What do ya want to know?" Wally asked.
"The deep stuff," Hannah replied.
"The deep stuff," Artemis scoffed.
"Like what?" M'Gann asked.
"You know... favorite color,"
"That's deep?" Connor asked.
"Sure," Hannah chuckled a little. Everyone else did as well, when they calmed down they all answered the question.
"Sunset orange," Robin said. Everyone nodded, and looked to Hannah.
"Green," Hannah said. (A/N) If anyone gets any of the references I make please comment on them!
"Red," M'Gann said.
"Green," Artemis said.
"Blue," Connor said.
"Yellow," Wally smiled.
"Black," Kaldur. Hannah rose an eyebrow at him, but shrugged. They continued asking "deep" questions late into the night.
M'Gann yawned, and leaned into Connor, who swung his arm around her shoulder. "What time is it?" he asked.
"Around midnight," Hannah responded. "I should get back to Gabe and you all should get to bed," she said. She gave everyone a hug, including Robin, they both ignored the electricity that shot through them when they touched, and Hannah zapped out.
