I Will Not Break You

Chapter 5) May

(A/N- This story probably won't be updated for a long time/til I get back from vacation. I will be on vacation from August 14th - 22nd and I will most likely write on the way there, but not much. So, please bear with me. I don't want to not update. Its just that I'll be busy. I would update this week but I'm going with my dad + step family. I'd rather spend these last two weeks with my mom, brother, and sister. So, I apologize for all of this. An expected update on this will probably be August 21-22nd)

I get to school, and see Ben sitting there in the front, but I ignore him and walk over to my best friend May.

"Hey, May" I say.
"Um..Hi Maddie" she says awkwardly.
"You were holding hands with that dirty boy. That's gross. We can't be friends anymore if you date someone like that." She says.
"I'm not dating him" I say.
"So, Dakota said that you slept with him, that's gross" May says.
"What a friend you are" I say and walk over to Ben.
"C'mon Ben. We're skipping today and going to the mall. The public schools have today off, they'll think that we go there." I say.
"Maddie, are you sure?" Ben asks.
"Yeah" I say and pull Ben with me.

I hear people behind me laugh and I feel eyes being darted towards Ben and I. I honestly don't care anymore. Ben and I walk to the mall, which is about a 15 minute walk. Probably bad to put a school that close to a mall. Lots of kids skip at my school because they have money and what not.

"Ben, we're going to really clean you up and see what all these bitches say" I growl.
"Are you trying to change me?" Ben asks.
"No, you're only going to dress like this for a day." I say.
"Oh okay" Ben says.

I find him a nice suit and make him try it on. Damn, he looks good. Now, time for a hair cut.

"C'mon we're getting your haircut." Maddie says.
"Umm...Maddie, I'm not too sure about this"
"Why?" She asks.
"I like my hair like this"
"No you don't. You look like Justin Bieber" Maddie says.
"Can you stop please? At least be nice if I'm going to do this"
"I apologize" she says.
"Its fine"
"But please?" She whines.
"It depends. I'll get one if I approve of it"
"Yay!" She says and pulls me to the hair salon that is in the mall.

I end up getting an actually badass hair cut. I kinda love it. Its spiky, but not too spiky.

Maddie picks me up a few other outfits and some cologne.

"Do you know how Nico Vega is?" Maddie asks.
"Yes, I do actually. They're a really good band. Especially for how young they are."
"Well, can you go to a concert with me, I have meet and greet tickets and I planned on May going but I guess not."
"Yeah Maddie, are you sure?"
"Positive"

Its Tuesday. I'm all dressed and look like Maddie wanted me to.

When I arrive at school, I feel lots of eyes darted at me, surprised.

"Hey, you're pretty cute when you're dressed like that" A girl with brown hair and hazel eyes says and then she circles around me pulling the collar.

"May! What the hell are you doing?!" I hear someone scream.
I look back and see Maddie walking over here.
"Look, she's not even as cute as me." May says.
"May get the fuck off of him." Maddie says.
"Babe, babe, stop" I say.
"No, shes a fucking bitch" Maddie says.
"You have the guts to call me that?" May says laughing.
"Guys please just stop" I say.

I finally realize there is a big group of people standing around us. May and Maddie are the two most popular girls in school. There is no way to get back from this.

"Get the fuck away May!" Maddie growls.
"Oouuhhh I'm so scared!" May teases laughing.
"Bitch I swear"

May laughs even more. I dart a look at Maddie and then she tackles May and is punching her. Maddie looks so furious and I pull Maddie off of her, but Maddie soon gets back on and I finally get her off and I realize our principal is right there.

Maddie, May, and I are all sent to the office. I'm sitting in the middle of them. May has the resting bitch face on her bruised face and Maddie has a smirk on her face.

"So, what happened?" The principal asked.
"That little thing attacked me" May says and points at Maddie.
"Why?" The principal asks.
"May was touching me in an uncomfortable way and Maddie stood up for me" I say.
"I know, I know girls, who wouldn't want a good looking and good bass player. But you guys need to calm down. There is no use in fighting over boys" Our principal replies.
"Am I good?" I ask.
"You are. But unfortunately, Maddie has to be kicked out of this school due to her behavior. I'm sorry Maddie, would you like to call your mother?"
"Yes" Maddie says.
"Now you two, scurry along to your classes" the principal says.

I walk out of the room and May is behind me.

"Haha! Your girlfriend got kicked out!" May remarks.
"She isn't my girlfriend" I say, "fuck you."

May laughs and walks away.

I can't with her.

What's Maddie going to do? What are her parents gonna say?

(A/N -- this chapter is a bit shorter than most chapters because I didn't want to reveal too much. Also, you probably won't get an update for awhile. This weekend I'll be camping, and the following weekend I'll being going on vacation to NC for a week. I apologize if this doesn't get updated that much. Not too long after I start school. I'm sorry)
