"I'm Home!" Ichigo called, preparing himself for a foo to hit his face. When nothing came for him, he looked up, surprised. Dad hated when he came home past seven, and it was almost eight now. Why hadn't he attacked him?

Ichigo was met with an empty table, all set up, food, now cold, set on the table. He went over to the table. None of the plates where used, and there was a note on one of them, in front of the place he always sat. The writing was in cursive, and flowing, almost what you'd expect from a noble's home, not on a plate in an abandoned dinner.

He picked up the paper, but gingerly. He could tell it was brittle paper, so slowly he opened the folds. He was silent as he read the paper, anger growing inside him with each word.

So sorry for you to come home expecting family. I'm not, actually. You won't be seeing them again. Get used to your life alone.

Ichigo had gotten better at telling the spiritual pressure left behind on certain items, and the paper reeked with Heuco Mundo.  Slowly he crushed the paper, distantly hearing it crack, pieces falling from his hand. He could tell his own spiritual pressure was rising as well in anger.

He dropped his bag, starting to search the house, knowing it was fruitless. Nothing was disturbed, it was if they simply had disappeared into thin air. His hands were still in fists, as he pushed open door after door in his home, not one person being there.

He heard a small crash downstairs, and went on high alert. He grabbed his spirit badge, ready to push it against his chest, when he saw the  slight blue light downstairs. It was flickering slightly, and moving closer slowly. He shook his head slightly, and peeked down the stairs. He saw Uryu, his bow drawn, with Orihime ready with her fingers to the hairpins. Chad was a step behind, arms already ready with the armor.

He stepped down the stairs, lowering his spirit badge from his chest. Uryu looked up at the stairs, the bow now pointed towards the stairs as he did. He lowered his arms, seeing Ichigo. "There wasn't a clash of spiritual energy, and yours was getting higher, then lowered."

Ichigo nodded. "Sorry." He went fully downstairs. "I'm going to Hueco Mundo."

"Why?" Uryu straightened from the ridiculous pose he had while walking with his bow, the bow disappearing.

"Aizen has my family." Ichigo almost got pissed again, and he opened his hand to show Uryu the note, but watched as it crumbled from his hand in pieces. He sighed. "Great."

"You can't go alone!" Orihime  said, her hands lowered from the pins. Chad nodded, his armor slipping away as well.

"I'm not stupid." Ichigo said.

"I beg to differ." Uryu muttered.

Ichigo sent a small, half-hearted glare at the Quincy, before looking up. "I know I can't."

"We'll go with." Chad said quietly, and Ichigo looked up. "Really?"

"Of course!" Orihime smiled at him, and looked over at Uryu. "Fine." Ichigo smiled, knowing the Quincy would never be left out of some rescue mission.

"Come on then." He said, and pressed the spirit badge against his chest, his body falling behind him, his spirit standing in front of them. He flash stepped out of the house, and the others ran to where they knew he was going- Karakura's.

Ichigo, by the time they got there, had explained the situation to Urahara, Rukia and Renji. the latter two had decided to join his rescue party, and Urahara agreed to open the portal to Hueco Mundo. Now, the hard part- Actually saving them.
