POV: Brooke"Okay class, settle down, it's time to meet our new student. Brooke Oakley! Why don't you tell us a little about yourself." I got up out of my desk and told everyone about me. It was all a lie. They couldn't know anything about me. I was nervous to find out who was Brooke's friends. All the women looked bitchy. And the men were scary. Once I sat down, a girl behind me with black hair tapped me on the shoulder. "Hi. My name is Gretchen. Nice to meet you." She whispered. "Hi." Was all I could say. "So. I heard you're gonna hang with the gang at lunch! I'm super happy for you. But I can't make it. I have an appointment at the dentist." She was oddly nice. I already don't trust her.
POV: Gretchen Quinn
Uggh. She's so annoying. And I know she is wearing weaves.
Time: 11:13 A.M.
POV: LaurieThe whole gang (and Brooke) got to our secret lunch spot. It was a secret attic inside the ceiling of the gym's projection room. It was neat. We fixed it up with lights, music and TV. Luckily, no one ever finds us. "So," Brooke broke the ice. "Do you guys eat here for lunch everyday?" Gunner looked back. "And home games, and Assemblies." "We are our own band of misfits." I proudly added. Louis looked confused towards me. "Misfits? Bitch please, I am fit." He snickered as Violet slapped him in the chest. "Heads up!" Bree yelled as she threw Brooke a beer.
POV: Bree
"You guys drink up here? In school?" Oh dear God. I hope alcohol doesn't ruin our friendship. "That's so badass!" She chugged the whole thing. Louis and Laurie were impressed, but I was a little nervous. If she can drink like that, imagine What she would do to a keg.
"So, as someone who lost their friends, may I ask you a question?" Louis said, cupping some wine. Brooke looked nervous. "Sur-"
"Hey Guys!" Xandir stumbled in the room with a frightened look. "Did you check your Twitter?" I opened my Twitter to find out that a hashtag that was trending that said #WoodsboroInBellefonte. Once I clicked it, I was more than shocked.POV: Violet
"Alee Cooper was murdered this morning!" Bree exclaimed as she checked her Twitter. Once I heard that, I ran out of the room and called my friend Andy. Andy took the day off from school this week cause he was sick.
"Andy? Andy? Hello, are you there?" I was worried sick. I heard his voice after a few seconds. "Hey buttercup..." he sounded worn out. "Andy where are you?" "I'm at home. The cops are everywhere. They are questioning me. They won't leave me alone." I am still worried sick. "Andy, stay there. I'm getting Felix and we are coming." "But you can't. Lunch ends in, like, 20 minutes... and you don't like Felix." I already hung up. Andy was my best friend. Alee was his sister who he had a really close relationship to. I know cause everytime I went to his house afterschool, I would play games with Andy and gossip around with Alee. The whole family accepted me for who I was. I felt so comfortable with them.
Once I found my way to the cafeteria, I found Felix. Felix wasn't in the popular friend group I was in. I trusted Felix cause he was weird. I wasn't afraid to be weird with him. He knew anything and everything about scary movies and the slayings of Woodsboro 96-11. He hid his face once I sat down across from him. "Don't hide from me." I know he feels worse. He actually had a crush on Alee. "You sure know how to greet an old friend..." Okay. To be honest, I'm best friends with Andy. I USED to be friends with Felix. "I suppose you heard about Alee... " I was trying not to force him to come with me to Andy's house. "Of course I have. That's the whole reason I haven't cursed you out. Yet..."
I got up, sat next to him, and clutched his hand tightly. "You know Felix, you're not the only one thats hurting right now." He looked up at me. Letting go of my hand. "Yeah. But my mother is dead. No one was there for me except for Andy and Alee. Not even you were there to comfort me. The cops just ignored the case like as if she deserved to die." I started to cry. "I know that whoever killed your mom, was the same person that hurt Alee, Tyra and Scott. And I fear he is out to get Andy...Buffy..." Felix grew suspicious. "Why do you think the killer is going for Buffy? I mean, I could see him going for us since we are associated with Andy." Seriously? "Felix, connectivity has nothing to do with these murders. I don't think these people have anything in common. All I know is that Buffy got a mysterious text this morning." Felix was upset that I forgot he is the murder expert. "It's clear that the killer is sending a message. Think about it. The killer murders the queen bee and the pushover of a boyfriend the night They were all alone. The day after, the background friend of the main character, this being Buffy receives a creepy text about the murders. (Signaling She's gonna die next.). Then we meet the new girl. Sure, she may seem cheeky, but we all know she's hiding a secret. After, the new girl settles in, one more teen drops that has something to do with one of the main characters. last but not least. The misfit female sees her old ass of a friend as she hopes They team up to find the killer before everyone ends up dead. Really Vi, it's like They are trying to reboot Woodsboro with all the cliche Tatum, Maureen, and Casey references."
"Well. You can say What you want, discount Randy, but we gotta get to Andy before it's too late." I started walking as he called for me. "How do you know it's not already too late?"End of Chapter 3
