"You're a μισό και μισό" (Misó Kai Misó)(Greek for half and half)

"A what?" I ask shocked.

She told me to sit down on the bed and I did so. She explained to me that this whole school if werewolves, μισό και μισό is Greek for half and half and the reason I'm not like others is not because of what my mum did. It's because I'm one bloody special werewolf. I told her I was being tracked and she told me why. Apparently it's not cause they want to kill me it's cause I'm the supposed mate of the alpha that's gonna save all of us. Which sound really dramatic but wait, there's more. After she explained to me what I am she also explained who she is. Beth and drake are the children of the alpha of the biggest pack in the U.S. I asked her why they are here and she just said that her father wanted for them to get away from all the problems. After that she threw me my uniform and told me to get dressed but I told her I was going to miss classes today and go talk to my aunt. I spent the next hour or so unpacking trying to figure out how to keep drake and that other boy quiet. I sat on my bed and walked out of the room and into the fogged glass doored room. It was a bathroom. And a big one at that. It was almost completely white. I looked in the mirror and was scared out of my skins. I looked a total mess. I got my makeup bag and put my face on. I might not act a total lady but I do like to look like one. Once I looked descent I went back to my room and put on some khaki green high waisted jeans a white crop top and white sneakers with a grey cardigan over.my hair was lightly curled already so I didn't need to do anything to it. I grabbed my white rimmed glasses and put them on. Usually I would put in contacts but stuff that. I walked out to the hall and it was completely empty. Walking to the principals office to talk to my aunt I walk into what I thought to be a wall. If only walls had arms. I wasn't exactly ready to talk to drake. Right now I was wearing a a white beanie that covered my ears but he still had that knowing look in his eyes.

I opened my mouth to say something but before I could his finger was on my lips.

"Come on" he said quietly gesturing for me to follow him. He wasn't in his uniform. He was in a white t shirt black jeans and a light denim jacket. We walk silently until I here a loud chatter from what I assume to be the mess hall (lunch/food hall). Two doors were open, leading to the loud chattering students. A door next to it was slightly ajar. Drake slowly opened it revealing a switch box. He looked at me mischievously I knew what he was going to do. And like I thought he switched all the power off. And within seconds you could here people and by people I mean girls screaming. He then pulled the switch off so no one could turn it back on. Except of course drake. It was pitch black because it was clouded over like crazy outside and it just began to rain. Slowly the school got colder and colder because the central heating has obviously been cut off. After ten minutes of waiting people start to shiver and then someone figures it out. It was to dark to see who by judging by the slap drake receives it was Beth.

"Turn the power on you jerk!" She urgently whispers.

"Just wait a few more minutes okay?" He said. I was confused on why he needed a few more minutes, I mean what could happen? Well this could happen- it started to snow.  Yep snow. Heavily to.drake dragged Beth and myself out side. We were shivering but it was so fun no one noticed.

It had been a few hours since it started to snow, and the power was now back on. Apparently this wasn't the first time this has happened and the school has a tone of extra nobs for the power.

I ended up not talking to my aunt but that could wait. Classes recommenced and drake and I where the only ones left.

"Don't you have classes?" I asked him. He hadn't gone to classes more did he have a uniform on.

"No I don't have classes. I graduated a few years ago. Even though Beth hasn't yet she insisted on redoing her last year." He said. He continued talking about his family and Beth and why they are here. Basically he relaid what Beth had told me but with a few more random silences.

"Sorry, this is weird. I've only just met you and I'm telling you everything about me." He said scratching the back of his neck. He had a awkward air around him which I laugh at.

"It's fine, honestly I find it interesting. You see I would have been an alphas daughter if I wasn't what I am." I said gesturing towards the ears.

"Oh right, the μισό και μισό situation"he said.

"Don't worry up your ears will be gone when you turn seventeen. And then you can turn into a wolf" he said. It puzzled me. I was seventeen.

I looked up at him he had stood up and held out his hand. What ever confused age I have I will sort it out later, right now I'm going skating.

Drake had led me to a frozen over lake.

"Back in the seventies people used this as a skating ring." He said walking over to a tree trunk. "I usually come here to clear my mind. So..." he trailed of and the. It was obvious.he was holding up two pairs of ice-skates.

"Hope you're a size eight" he says handing me a pair.

"Funnily enough I am" I say slipping on the skates. A bit roomy and hardy but not bad.

I had never skated before, so this was a first.

I stood up on the soft snow and made my way to the ice. Drake was already on it just waiting for me. He stood there flawlessly.

"Okay I have a game" I said. Looking intently into drakes eyes.

"One person asks a question and the other has to answer truthfully." I said emphasising the 'truthfully'.

He nodded and then asked.

"Is this your first time skating?"

I nodded and then he came up to me and held out one of his gloved hands. I took it in mine and he lead me out.

I suddenly noticed one question that has been bugging m for ages.

"Why did you stand up for that guy?" I ask.

His face is plastered with shock, but he answers anyway.

"No one deserves to be bullied" he says.

We keep throwing questions back and forth and the one question I asked and was surprised by the answer was when he told me he had never actually done it aka he was still a virgin. He was holding out for his mate. And the. I laughed slightly.

"What?" He asked.

"I didn't even realise this whole mates thing was real." I say. He laughs a little but before he answers I slip and fall on the ground, pulling drake with with me. I try to get up but kept slipping. Then out of no were its raining again but it quickly turns into snow so we didn't get that wet.

We get up put the skates away and begin walking back to school. The sun was only just setting when we got back. Classes were still going, which surprised me, it was pretty late so I said bye to drake and went back to my dorm, and I'm greeted by a frowning Beth.
