Katniss P.O.V

These past few months have been so busy and stressful. Peeta and I just want to be married already. I mean, what are we waiting for? I love him, he loves me. If it were up to me, I'd say we already are, but society requires a piece of damn paper to say so. Even after the war, society still sucks.

Peeta has gone out to "finish some last minute decorations to our cake" but I know he's just planning another surprise for me. I've been the one working on all these last-minute details to the wedding not him. I must be stressing out way too much because I begin to feel nauseous and sprint for the bathroom.

Peeta returns home to find me puking up what little breakfast I ate. "Katniss? Oh my goodness, Katniss! Are you ok?"

"Pre-wedding jitters," I laugh, wiping my mouth.

"Ok, honey. As long as your ok. Can you believe that this time tomorrow, I can finally call you my wife?"

"You have no idea how excited I am." Then Peeta's phone rings. Must be important, since he sprints out the door faster than I sprinted to the bathroom. Five minutes later he sends me a text, but the nausea returns before I can read his message. These damn jitters are pissing me off. Like hello? I have stuff that still needs to be done if tomorrow is going to go as planned. After cleaning out my mouth I search for my phone, but it must of slid across the floor when I dropped it. I get down on my knees and search the floor. I find it under a dresser near my mom's office. I reach under for the phone and come across a book. Suddenly I forget the phone and sit down to look at the book. It's a scrapbook.

There's pictures of my mom and dad as kids before they met, while they were dating, their own wedding, and of course pictures of me and Prim growing up, with the last picture being taken in District 13, captioned,"My youngest daughter, a rebel medic off to help people." Back to the toilet I go.

I hear a knock at the door about 20 minutes after finding my mom's book. It's Annie. I wipe my mouth for the ninth time and walk toward the door.

"You look like hell, Katniss!" Annie says in a sorta joking matter. But she's right, I look and feel like hell.

"Hello to you too, Annie."

"Let's clean you up then we'll go." I'm guessing she's talking about my bachelorette party. We both walk up stairs for me to change, and then I black out and fall back down the stairs.

Annie's P.O.V

I sit tapping my feet waiting to hear about Katniss. I tried calling Peeta but it goes straight to voicemail. Finally a doctor comes out and heads toward me.

"Well Ms. Cressida.."

"Odair you asshole!" I shout as I show him my ring and then middle finger.

"My apologies Mrs. Odair. Katniss and the baby are both completely fine and I will be releasing them within the hour."

"Excuse me? Please repeat that. I could've swore I heard you say Katniss is pregnant."

"Well yes, Mrs. Odair, she is. She and her soon-to-be husband should be excited. Have a wonderful day, ma'am."

A nurse directs me to Katniss's room. When she sees me she immediately smiles. "Hey, Katniss. How are you?" I ask as if I'm stepping on hot coal.

"Considering I just found out I'm pregnant, fine," she says sadly looking down at her stomach. "Should I tell Peeta now?"
