"Hello,"
Christeen slowly turned around and faced the voice behind her, to face Markus.
"H-hi,"
She stuttered. Markus has always been the intimedating type, the type you don't skrew around with nor skrew over... maybe that is why he was such a jerk...
"You are pretty good you know,"
Christeen was pulled from her train of thoughts by Markus's raspy voice echoing in her ears.
"Uhm... Thanks, Markus?"
She said, trying not to let the blush she was starting to develope, run to her cheeks. She hated it when somebody complemented her on her skating. She got insecure because she then realized that people are always watching and if she slips up, they will know...
"Call me Mark... and you are?"
"Christeen, but call me Chris, everyone else does... so what are you doing here Mark?"
"I'm in search for a skating partner and lucky you has caught my eye."
Mark said with a cocky smirk playing on his lips. Jerk. Chris thought.
"Why a skating partner? Are you getting a bit lonely on the ice?"
Chris said leaving the comment with some sass... Christeen had always saw her self as kind of a bitch. Not for her personality but as a deffence maganism against guys. She has only been in a few relationships before, but each of them have ended badly... so she formed this font, and believe it being 18 and still single isn't all that good but that keeps her from getting hurt. And she knows who and what Mark is, so deffences are all on alarm.
"Oh but on the contrary," he smirked again,"I need a partner to be in the pairing section of figure-skating."
"Pair what??"
