Hello Internet. - A Dan Howell AU/Fanfiction

Chapter one: Hello Internet.

"I'm going to tell them now" Dan Howell says to his roomate Phil, who's watching anime on the TV. Phil quickly stands up and hugs him tight.

"Okay," he says and lets go of the taller boy. "Remember that I'm here if you need to talk." he looks at him with concern in his eyes.

"Yeah, I know. Thanks, Phil" he says, not daring to look at Phil. Phil gives him a hug again before Dan leaves the room.

Daniel walks to his room and sits down by the camera. He looks at the messy bed for a while, then turns towards the camera facing him. He turns it on, lets out a weak sigh and says,

"Hello internet. I know that I haven't shot a video in a while, I'm sorry for that. But... in this video, I'm going to tell you why," he inhales, a flash of panic shown in his eyes. "These last six months, I've been going to a doctor," he looks down at his hands for a while and continues. "It was just a checking, those you do like, once or twice a year. Phil insisted on that I was going, because I had been feeling..." he looks up again at the camera, not knowing what to say.

"Anyways, I mentioned how I had been feeling. And for some reason, he dediced to do a PET-scan. I know, pretty weird, huh?" he chuckles a bit. "And, um... They found something." tears form in his eyes, but he wipes them away before they even start to fall. "My dear audience: 

I have cancer."

(A/N: Hey guys, so this is my second fanfiction ever, so don't judge :P

This chapter is short, but it's just because I use it as an opening.
