The night was heavy with silence, the kind that carried a promise of danger. Jiwon moved like a shadow through the alleyways, his sniper cradled in his arms as he scanned the area. Hyunjin had given him this mission alone since Felix couldn’t join, and he wasn’t about to fail. The target was a man who had stolen money from them, but instead of finding the thief, Jiwon stumbled upon a group of his colleagues, guarding what seemed to be a hideout.

Finding an ideal vantage point, Jiwon settled into position, his trained eyes picking off the guards one by one with precise shots. Their bodies slumped silently to the ground as he exhaled, steady and focused. Once the perimeter was clear, he slung his sniper over his back and made his way down to search for the boss.

Inside, the dimly lit room smelled of sweat and smoke. The man in charge wasn’t far. Jiwon prowled forward, but before he could react, the sharp press of cold steel touched the back of his neck.

“So eager to find me?” a deep voice sneered.

Jiwon didn’t hesitate. In a swift move, he twisted, knocking the gun aside before landing a well-placed punch to the man’s ribs. The boss grunted, stumbling backward, but Jiwon was faster. He struck again, disarming him, and in the next moment, the man was on his knees, his hands bound.

“You’re going to tell me everything,” Jiwon said coolly, pressing a knife against the man’s cheek. The boss merely chuckled, his defiance evident even as blood trickled from the shallow cut Jiwon had made.

“I don’t think so,” the boss spat.

Jiwon smirked, dragging the blade slowly down his skin. Before he could push further, an unsettling shift in the air caught his attention. He wasn’t alone.

From the shadows, a voice called out. “Drop your weapons.”

Jiwon tensed. A group of men emerged, their guns trained on him. He couldn’t see their leader clearly, but their presence was enough to tell him this was bad.

“On your knees.”

Jiwon met the leader’s gaze, tilting his head in defiance. “And if I don’t?”

The man took a step forward. “We’ll make you.”

Jiwon scoffed but, seeing no other option, slowly lowered himself to his knees.

“Who do you work for?” the leader demanded.

Jiwon merely smirked. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”

The team didn’t take kindly to his sarcasm. Rough hands yanked his mask off, exposing his face. The moment the leader’s eyes landed on him, they flickered with recognition. They weren’t done. The men seized his arms, rolling up his sleeve. And then, there it was—his tattoo.

Silence hung thick in the air.

The leader stiffened, his breath catching. “Take him,” he ordered, voice laced with something between shock and possessiveness.

Before Jiwon could resist, a cloth was pressed over his mouth. A sickly sweet scent invaded his senses, making his head spin. He thrashed, fighting to stay conscious, but the world around him blurred. Darkness crept at the edges of his vision, his strength fading.

As he slumped, he was lifted into the backseat of a car. The last thing he felt was a gentle touch against his hair. A voice, soft and familiar, whispered against his ear.

“I’ve been looking for you. I missed you, my darling.”

Jiwon’s world faded to black.

Some moments later…

Inside a dimly lit control room, the tension was thick. Multiple screens displayed various camera feeds, one of them showing Jiwon being dragged into a car, unconscious. The room was filled with the sound of hurried breathing and the occasional click of a keyboard as they tried to track the vehicle.

Minho’s fists clenched as he watched the scene unfold. "Damn it," he muttered, his voice laced with frustration.

Jisung sat beside him, his knee bouncing anxiously. "They just took him like that... Who the hell are they?" His voice cracked slightly, his worry evident.

Hyunjin, standing behind them, narrowed his eyes. "We need to stay calm. We’re going to get him back."

Bangchan, arms crossed, exhaled deeply. "Panicking won’t help him. We need to be smart about this."

Changbin ran a hand through his hair, his jaw tight. "First, we find out who took him. Then, we take them down."

Seungmin was already at one of the computers, his fingers flying over the keyboard. "I’m on it. Give me a second."

Jeongin was beside him, scanning another monitor. "We need to find out where they’re taking him before they go off-grid."

Minho took a deep breath, his sharp gaze never leaving the screen. "We’re getting Jiwon back. No matter what it takes."

Hyunjin leaned in, his expression unreadable. "Let’s analyze the footage. See if we can identify any of them."

Bangchan nodded. "Jeongin, try to get a plate number. Seungmin, check for any known gang affiliations. If they’re connected to any of our enemies, we’ll know where to start."

Jisung swallowed hard. "What if… what if they hurt him?"

Changbin shot him a reassuring look. "Then we’ll make them regret it."
