Ch 1 Base

"Privet Grimes !" "Yes commander Sir" I put my hand to my forehead and saluted him " you have a phone call  " thank you sir" I took the phone from his out stretched hand and left to go to my tent that I share with my military friend Bugs  and Bugs as in Bugs bunny. " hello who is it ?" " Eve is that you" it was my friend from high school who my older brother got married to and made me into an Aunt " yes  Lori  this is Eve ,is everything ok ?"  Violent sobs filled the other end of the line " Lori calm down " I heard the phone being passed " Hello Eve it's Shane " "Shane whats wrong is everything ok !" " Eve Ricks been shot " "where at?" "The side but Eve -" "but nothing Shane he's fine yeah he will hurt for awhil but he will be fine " " E he's in a damn coma !" A coma  what no that no " Shane your lying he's going to take this phone out of your hand while laughing his ass off while I get mad and then laugh to like they do in those cheesy movie's "  five minutes past "S-Shane ?"  "Yeah E ?" "Can ya p-pick me up at the airport?" "Yup see you then". I slamed the phone down and pack my bag bag and headed for the buss " Grimes where do you think your going !" I ignored my captain and steept on the bus " Grimes if you put your ass on that bench your never coming back !" I flipped him off before the doors closed and it looks like I was not the only one who was leaving to there was about six men and six women counting me. I walked to the back of the buss and noticed Bugs sitting in the seat on my left "hey " "hi" I layed my head on his shoulder  " this is gonna be a long ride home " he let out a huff laughed  and then we both fell into a comfortable silenc .

"Aunt Eve" I watched as a small brown head boy ran over to me "yes Carl?" He stopped right in front of me and looked at my nuckles to make sure I stopped cutting " am I good now" he shook his head yes then answerd my question " Darly wants to talk to you " " to me ?" I raised an eyebrow he shook his head yes once again and then ran of to play with Sophia. I got of the log I was on and went over to Lori and Carol " hey guy's ? " " what's wrong E you ok ?" Lori and Carol said at the same time I showed them my hands " I'm not cutting anymore I promise " they both looked un sure but said ok   " so why do you think Darly wants to see me ? " I said wile grabbing some laundry and hanging it on the makeshift line " probably to get it on " Lori said while winking at me with Caorl not to far behind " and I'm gone !" I started speed walking away from them and over to the Red neck ." What do you need ?" Ok  that might have been a little rude but hey he's been a dumbass being under his brother's shadow at all times " wanted to know if you wanted to go hunting with me ?" Hey you now how I said dumbass I ment to say he is a very smart dumbass " yes ! I jumped up and down . "Wait is this a trick or some sort of payback for kicking you in the ball's ?" Just to let you guys know I hade no idea he was outside my tent with my arrows I forgot to grab when I stormed off when everyone found out I was cutting " maybe " he sent me a smirk " right " I gullped down the lump that was forming in my throat "just go get ya damn stuff and meet me at the edge of the tree line " he walked of while I went to get my bow and knife and headed over to the tree line where D was at. Without saying a word we both left to go hunt.
