"In this house, the walls whisper secrets, the puzzles test your mind, and the clock decides your fate. Solve, escape… or become part of the game."

–NAMJOON
The letter arrived without warning. No knock at the door, no footsteps in the hall. Just a sleek black envelope lying on my desk, its surface cold as if it had been left out in the rain. My name was written in silver ink, delicate yet deliberate. It wasn’t my full name—just Namjoon.
I hesitated before opening it. Inside, a single card bore a message:
"A challenge awaits. Seven puzzles. Seven hours. A prize beyond imagination. If you dare—come."
No sender. No instructions. Just a set of coordinates.
Everything about it felt wrong. The paper was too smooth, the ink too dark. It smelled faintly of something metallic—like old coins or blood. I should have ignored it. I almost did.
But then Jungkook saw it.
"You have to check this out," he said, practically buzzing with excitement. "What if it’s some secret underground event?"
Taehyung just smirked, tilting his head. "Or a trap."
That should have been enough for me to walk away. But something about the invitation gnawed at my curiosity, a whisper in the back of my mind urging me forward.
Against my better judgment, I agreed.

The coordinates led us far beyond the city, where the streetlights faded and the roads grew narrow. It was the kind of place people didn’t just stumble upon.
And then we saw it.
A massive, unmarked building stood at the edge of a dense forest. No windows. No signs. Just a single iron door in the center, waiting.
"This is so cool," I murmured, but my excitement faltered when I stepped closer. The air here felt wrong—thicker, heavier, like it was pressing down on my chest.
Namjoon looked uneasy, his jaw tight, but he didn’t say anything. Taehyung, on the other hand, seemed completely unbothered.
No handles. No keypad. Just a small, red-lit screen above the door. The second we reached it, the screen flickered, and a robotic voice crackled through unseen speakers.
"Welcome, challengers."
The door swung open on its own.
I swallowed. This was fun—right? Just a game. But something in the back of my mind whispered: turn around.
None of us did.

The moment we stepped inside, the door slammed shut behind us.
