The next morning I woke up around 7:30. I rolled over in bed realizing that I had spent my first night in the beach house which explained being surrounded by the yellow walls and the warm feeling as the sun was rising outside my windows. The beach house had two bedrooms, I was always considered the lucky one because my room faced the ocean unlike my parents. I had my bed positioned next to the window so each morning I opened my eyes to the waves which had lulled me to sleep the night before.

I still felt sleepy and cozy in my bed not really thinking of anything in particular, until I remembered him. My brain quickly recapped everything that had happened the day before. It didn't seem real, spending so much time with a boy who was so, gorgeous. A guy who, if he came anywhere near my high school would be flirted with by every girl who walked past. Well probably except for me, I tended to keep gawking private although that could be difficult with a guy like that... WHAT WAS I THINKING?! I needed to stop this.

With that I got up, I rolled out of bed lazily and made my way to the bathroom to get ready. Brushing my teeth, hopping in and out of the shower, applying makeup and choosing an outfit. I decided that later today I may feel like venturing into town so I dressed for the occasion, I wore deep blue skinny jeans, brown leather sandals, and one of my favorite shirts, light grey with silver accents, full lace. Under which I always wore a black bra. My skin already had a good summer base tan so all that you could see through the shirt didn't look too pale. I did my eyes with the same golds as yesterday and then winged on some liner. I was done and looked in the mirror satisfied. As I looked in the mirror I had to admit my body wasn't too bad, it was already tan, which accented my blonde hair well, I had an hourglass shape and a flat stomach. I completed my look with all of my rings, a pair of rhinestone earrings, and a few silver bracelets as I headed down stairs in search of breakfast.

I made myself breakfast without much thought, there weren't too many options seeing as I desperately needed to go grocery shopping, the kitchen consisted of pop tarts, which I had packed in my suitcase, some eggos from last year which still hadn't expired and a few canned vegetables in the cabinet. I decided it must have been a good thing that I ate dinner at the Danlee's last night or I wouldn't have had too many other options. I put one package of pop tart's in the toaster to cook while I grabbed a paper plate and a bottle of water. When my strawberry frosted pop tart's were ready. I popped them on my plate and decided to eat breakfast in the sand. I used to do it all the time when I was little because I would be itching to get outside and play. I plopped in the sand a little ways from my house but kept my distance from the wet sand.

I was busy making my way through my first pop tart when I realized that someone was swimming in the water. I thought it was odd. No one was ever in our area of the beach even if the were just swimming by, on our part of the beach it was always just us and the Danlee's on our part of the beach and...WAIT. I suddenly realized who was in the water as I felt my heart jump and my stomach lurch. Max was in the water, and he was bound to come out sometime. I decided the best thing to do was continue finishing my breakfast as if I were un-phased.

He continued to swim, I could tell he didn't realize I was out there and as I made my way through my first pop tart I was about to take a bite of my second when I saw him coming up from out of the water. I sucked in a breath. I was sitting in his path so he would have to pass me, he was now walking through the wet sand. He was dripping wet, all he was wearing was a plain black bathing suit which made his skin look golden with tan. His arms were well built and then I got a look at his chest. He had a perfectly carved and defined six pack, which looked so perfect on his tan skin... I NEEDED TO STOP! I met him less than 24 hours ago and a girl like me, so plain, would never have a chance like him.

He had hit the dry sand by now and I smiled to myself. He noticed me then, as if he had been in his own world before.

"Hey Jessica!" He called over to me waving.
