I gazed at the darkness in front of me, the horrific woods where ghosts and spirits supposedly lurked... But should I really believe that?
I decided to forget about it, it's a rumour after all, right?
I stepped nervously at the entrance of the woods, desperate to run. Would he find me either way when I take one step further? Taking a deep breath, I ran.
I started to run, as fast as my legs could take me, my black dress swishing against my calves, my dark chocolatey hair bouncing rapidly against my pale face.
There was darkness, and trees. Everywhere. Yet I started to adjust my large olive green eyes, adapting to the dark area, not stopping.
Then I heard it.
Footsteps.
I didn't turn around, I couldn't! But I had a feeling I knew who it was. It was him. The dark, handsome, and dangerous... Vampire. I couldn't let him catch me.
I panted for breath, my eyes were wide and my pupils were dilating, getting larger and larger with fear. Strange sounds were whispering around me, moans and a scream.
I couldn't take it anymore. How long had I been running? Twenty minutes? Forty? And hour? I collapsed against a tall, dark tree.
No. I had to keep going. I can't give up. Not after I entered these cursed woods, anyways.
Getting up, I anxiously searched my surroundings, looking for any signs of my captor. When I didn't see anything, I relaxed slightly.
Taking out my small, round silver compact mirror, I studied myself. I wasn't vain or anything, I was quite modest if I do say so myself.
My chocolatey hair was long and straight as always, slightly wispy and windswept due to all the harsh running, my olive green eyes were large and had a fearful look in them, and my face was as pale as ever, if not slightly paler. I was wearing a night black dress that went down to my calves, and was decorated with large silk, dark grey bows at the hem. It was full sleeved and high collared, which I appreciated. I also dawned black tights underneath the dress with dainty black one inch strapped heels.
Not appropriate for a running-away-in the-woods scheme.
But it didn't really matter, did it.
I stood, facing the tree, with someone breathing against my cheek. Wait, breathing against my cheek?
I slowly, very slowly, turned around in absolute horror, and saw him, standing straight in front of me, a wicked smile, no, a smirk, tugging on his luscious lips. His dark, dark soft hair swept across his forehead, his pale face glowing and half shadowed by the moonlight and darkness. His icy grey eyes were gazing at me with...interest?He was wearing a dark suit and his nimble hands were covered in white gloves. Handsome, but dangerous, powerful, and he probably wanted to suck my blood.
"How nice of me to catch you here, Sophia. You don't have any...plans, do you?" He asked me in a mocking tone. I covered my face with my small, dainty, pale hands, over my equally dainty, pale, and delicate features, whimpering softly.
"Aw, don't be like that, darling. Nothing will hurt you." He breathed in his velvety smooth voice. I knew he was just playing around with me, but I was afraid anyways. This was just his way of terrifying me, with his sweet words and attractive visage.
He brought a gloved hand to my face and laid it on top of one of my hands, prying it away. I felt him pin me against the tree, a little roughly.
I started to struggle, trying to squeeze my way out of his grasp, but I had no such luck. He covered my body with his, and he was holding both my wrists together so that they were in front of my chest. I emitted a high pitched scream when I saw his fangs sprouting out, gleaming against his lips. He covered his left hand on my mouth, muffling my screams, which sounded like the girls from those horror movies, to be honest. He held my wrists in his right hand firmly, so that I wouldn't get away. Not like I could.
He brought his pale chiseled face close to mine, and me being me, shy and bashful, tried to turn away. But I couldn't because his hand was almost like a death grip, numbing my narrow jaw.
I tried to scream again, but it came out small and short, because I honestly wasn't much of a screamer in the first place.
"Don't worry, sweetheart, it won't hurt after a little bit." What? What was he- and that's when he pulled down my dress collar and pierced my slim, pale neck with his sharp fangs. I screamed in pain, it felt like there were a million knives stabbing it, and I felt a stream of blood flowing along.
But then something happened. The bite started to feel... Sweet. Good. Pleasurable. I gasped softly, my chest falling up and down, and I unconsciously pressed tighter against him. He brought me closer, tongue licking my neck while still taking my blood. I moaned softly again, seeing that I'm shy, I would never do it boldly.
I felt... Like I was in heaven. The blissful feeling was taking over me, and my eyes were fluttering, wanting to close.
And my body gave up.
I swayed lightly and started to fall backwards, but my captor caught me in time. His arms wrapped around me and lifted me up, bridal style.
Then everything went completely and utterly... Black.
