The journey begins

I wanna be the very best,like no  one ever was.To catch them is my real test,to train them is my cause.
I will travel across the land,searching far and wide.Each Pokemon to understand the power that's inside.

* I am (Y/N) (L/N) and I have been an old childhood friend since kindergarten ,we both have dreams to become Pokemon masters,and tomorrow we are going to get are first pokemon to start our journey.but I just hope he doesn't come late the lab.*

*Ash's pov*
As I was watching a pokemon battle, I stared putting on close. " Yes,I am Ash,and now that I'm ten,I can finally get my Pokemon license.I will journey,to gain the wisdom of Pokemon training,and I here declare to the Pokemon of the world,I will become a Pokemon master.Pokemon Master! That is what I-"Ash! Get to bed!" I was suddenly interrupted by my mom and I stumbled and threw my clock,and my mom caught it to show how late it was.
"It's 11:00 o'clock ,you need to be asleep."
"But tomorrow I star my Pokemon journey, I can't sleep."
" well if you can't sleep,you should at least get ready for tomorrow,here watch this." She then turned the channel to the professor giving out instructions to beginners.7
"Go to bed when this is done."
"Alright,I'm going."
"And change into your pajamas,okay?" *closes door*
"I'm going." I said still looking at the tv. I hope (y/n) is there to get a Pokemon too,I wonder which one she's going to get.

*(Y/N)'s POV *
I was watching the professor giving out facts about the starter Pokemon,then my dad open the door.
"You know it its past your bedtime,you should head on to bed."
"But dad,I need to know everything when I get my Pokemon." I say pointing at the tv. My dad then laughs.
"Aww,my little girl is growing up,you know your mother would be so proud of you."
"I know." I said smiling sadly.
"But after this is done,-"
" I go to sleep,I will."
"That's my girl." * closes door*
'I just hope that ash doesn't be late'

'Coco,coco!' The alarm when on and I quickly turned it of because of the  ruin of my beauty sleep....then I remember That I was going to become a Pokemon trainer today. So,as any normal person would do,I started to talk to myself,and rush.
"That's right,I get my Pokemon today!"
I then put on my trainer outfit(u choose!) and ran out the door,to the kitchen were my farther was at.
"I see your up early,ready to get a Pokemon,I be out there later to congratulate you."
"Thanks dad,bye!" I said grabbing an apple and going to the door.

*timeskip*
As I ran to the entrance of the lab,I was greeted by  professor.
"Good morning (y/n),I see your early today."
"That's right,and I'm ready to get my Pokemon!"
"I see.Well,come on in."
*timeskip to the lab*
"Well professor,what kind of pokemon you have in stored for me today?"
"Well (y/n),I got a very special pokemon for you."
"What do you mean?"
"Some time ago,your mother made me promise to give you one of her pokemon,and it's a rare one indeed."
"What is it?"I asked curious about the Pokemon,my mother had install for me.As I asked the question,professor oak came with a pokeball,and activated it to bring out a......
"What's that pokemon?"
"This is a Eevee,this is a very rare pokemon,what makes it even rarer is that this is a shiny."
"Eevee~!" Evee said with excitement as it jumped on to me and lick my face.
"I like him already!" I giggled as he kept licking my face.
"I'm going to tell that the both of you are going to be best friends." The professor said,and I nodded at the statement. Then suddenly,the door the lab opened,to show that Gary was entering. He is one of my other childhood friends,but sometimes he can be a jerk.
"Yo gramps,I'm here to get my starter!"
"I see,pick your starter,squirtle,charmander,or balbasaur."
"I'm going to pick the most powerful starter they're is,I chose squirtle."
'Yep,that's Gary alright.' I thought sweat dropping a little.Then he realized (finally!) I was also in the lab.
"Sup (y/n), I see you finally got a Pokemon."
"That's right,and we're going to make a team to become the best pokemon trainer ever,isn't that right Eevee!"
"Evee~!"
"Ha! In your dreams,everyone knows that I'll become the Pokemon master!"
"That's sounds like a challenge."
"It's not when you already know who's going to win."
"I agree,I know that I'm going to when anyway."
"We'll see about that,I going to go outside,I can't keep the people waiting." Gary said going outside.
"That's Gary for you."
"That's about right" the professor said getting something.
"Here are your pokeballs,and a pokedex to start the journey."
"Thanks,I can't wait." I exclaimed getting my material,and putting them in my pocket.
"Well, the journey isn't going to start its self,I better get outside,see you later."
"Goodbye (y/n)." The professor said as I run out the door with evee on top of my head.
*timeskip to outside*
'Oh my god.' I thought as I show a big crowd of people and cheerleaders with a car in front of the Pokemon lab.
As I the cheerleaders cheer,I saw someone move in front of them. That person was Ash,late as ever. He then bumped into Gary.
"Hey,watch were your going! Well,you must be Ash,better late then never I guess,at least you get the chance to meet me."
"Gary?"
"That's mister Gary to you show some respect,well Ash you snooze you lose and your way behind right from the start.Ive got a Pokemon and you don't."
"You got your first pokemon?"
" that's right loser and its right inside this pokeball." Gary said showing Ash the pokeball.
"Let's go Gary,let's go,Let's go Gary let's go!"the cheerleaders cheered.
"Thank you fans,thank you all for this honor.I promise you that I will become a Pokemon master,and make the town pallet known all around the world!"
Gary exclaims as the crowd went wild.
"Excuse me,I was wondering if you could just tell me what kind of pokemon you got."
"None of your business,if you'd show up on time,you would've saw that I got the best pokemon from professor oak. It's good to have a grandfather in the Pokemon business isn't it." Gary gloated as got inside the car.
"Thank you for coming to see history in the making,now I,Gary Oak,am off to learn the ways of the Pokemon trainer!"Gary left,leaving an angry Ash.
"Grrr, I'll show  you."
"Sup Ash." I called out walking next to him.
"Oh hi (y/n)."
" I see your ready to get your pokemon,in pajamas." I giggled as Ash's face started to turn red.
"It's not my fault,the alarm didn't go off." Ash said embarrass by his lateness.
"So,you decided to show up."
"Oh professor,where's my Pokemon?"
"Your pokemon?"
"Yes,I'm ready.
"You look like your ready for bed,not for pokemon trainer,I hope you don't think your going to train in your pajamas."
"Oh no professor,I got missed up this morning,and I was a little late,but believe me,I'm ready for a Pokemon."
*timeskip to lab again*
"I thought about it and it took me a long time,but I chose squirtle." He said grabbing the pokeball seeing it was empty.
"Already taken from a person you was on time."
"I wish I hadn't over slept,but now I chose as my Pokemon balbasaur." That was empty too.
"That one was taken too by a kid who wasn't late."
"Well that's no problem,because my Pokemon will be charmander." Empty.
"The early bird gets the worm,or in this case the Pokemon."
"Does that mean that all the Pokemon are gone?"
"Well,we do have one left but-"
"Professor I'll take it!"
"I must warn you,this one is weird."
"I have to have a Pokemon.
"Well in that case." The professor gave him the ball that let a flashy light,to show a......
