Ed’s breathing quickened while he looked around at the growing demons that morphed into different shapes, “Damn my luck.” He cursed and quickly started his more demonic powers instead of using his Incubus power, but he knew the risks. If he used more of his demon strength, he could lose his touch of being an incubus. Dodging the demon with long, needle like teeth, he rolled to touch his hand to the flame on the floor, then soon his burning hand peeled away at the human skin and revealed red skin as his fingernails grew as claws. Soon many demons were leaping at Ed, his hand was at the ready to claw, slice, or damage the demons in any way. It was easy at first although he hadn’t fought in awhile, so he was a bit rusty, and these demons were young.

“Damnit.” He grunted killing another, but stopped to notice the more he killed, the more they multiplied. Glaring at just noticing, the room was filled with them. Ed was running out of ideas, and he knew if he didn’t think of anything soon . . .he would die. Looking at his hand, he sighed then glared towards the many demons making their way towards him as he grabbed one of the demons then held it under his arm like a football, but squeezed it until the lava left it’s throat and spewed at the many others.

Throwing the demon out of his grasp he ducked behind a boulder and covered his ears; and explosion filled the entire room slightly burning at Ed’s skin having it to peel slightly revealing more red skin. Everything subsided but Ed flinched as small demon bodies plopped down dead, and waiting he noticed they were actually dead when they didn’t multiply.

“God I hope I never have to deal with that again” He grunted getting up and dusted off the rubble only to sneeze, “Now to look for this Gerade . . .Satan.” Ed corrected himself and walked through the wall easily to find himself back just outside of Satan’s office doors as Death was just standing there looking humble.

“So how’d it go?”

“Terrible, he tried to kill me.”

“I think many times before I told you he never did like people looking through his things.” Death simply spoke while flicking some rubble off of Ed’s coat.

“I know, but that was when I was small.”

“Yes, but many had died today I see.” Death lightly moved his cloak to show the many demon’s souls that screamed, “You killed many.”

“Where do you take them?”

“To Hades, he would know what to do with them.”

“To father?”

“Well of course, he’s best at making souls suffer” Death turned, “Even hell is a second chance at live.”

“Yeah, I suppose.” Ed looked away and looked back to tell something to Death, but found him gone. A tiny cackle was heard and the small guard demon grinned over to Ed.

“I take it that master didn’t want you around.” But he was silenced as Ed stepped onto the demon nearly squishing him to his second death.

“I suggest it to be best to quiet yourself before I really do kill you.” Edmund threatened then walked away calmly although with a new ambition. He couldn’t really kill Satan since without him there would be no order in the world. It would destroy everything, and Ed needed to find a replacement quick. He himself thought of himself taking the replacement, but that wouldn’t be a very good choice. He thought of his mother, but Satan can only be male. Maybe he would visit his father too, so that he could at least have help for when he would decide who would gain the throne of Lucifer. Ed hadn’t been in hell like this since he was a young demon, and even back then that was when there was a different Satan before Gerade had taken over. In fact, Gerade killed the previous Satan to gain the thrown. Those were dark times before everything went back to normal.
