Echo was quiet the whole time she ate her dinner with her two brother’s; after much explaining why she was gone and much lying, they had decided to let her off the hook. But Alex wasn’t much convinced, he was still suspicious of her actions since she’s met her new friend in the beginning of the year, and it only being December; he worried for what would happen at the end of the year of school.
“Echo.” Alex decided to bring the topic up.
“Hm?” She hummed while slurping up a noodle of spaghetti.
“I would like to speak about this new friend of yours.”
“Edmund?”
“ . . .Sure.” Alex sighed and looked over to Andrew who simply nodded.
“What about Edmund?”
“Well it seems that he’s a bad influence.” He sighed and Echo simply froze from going to fill her mouth with another forkful of spaghetti. Did Alex catch on? Did he know about Edmund’s demonic blood? If so, she never knew Alex was that smart.
“Um.” She looked up causing Alex to quirk his eyebrow thinking he was right, “It’s not his fault he’s the way he is, if anything you should blame his parents, or from where he came from-”
“Echo, what are you talking about?” Andrew blinked as she continued on.
“It’s not his fault, it’s the way he was raised.”
“So you’re saying he’s a delinquent?” Alex questioned.
“Y- . . .what?” She paused and then caught on, “No! He’s not anything like that at all, he’s just different.”
“Then what were you ranting about?” Andrew wondered as he bit onto his fork.
“Oh nothing important.” She smiled nervously and lowered her head continuing to eat her meal.
“Echo.” Alex spoke causing her only to lower her head even lower.
“Echo.” Andrew spoke this time and she breathed out with a sigh.
“What . . .”
“Is there something you’re not telling us?” Alex asked now worried about her safety.
“You wouldn’t believe me, you’d probably send me to a crazy house.” Echo spoke while spinning her fork around on the plate with spaghetti.
“Just tell us.”
“Well, for one . . .“ She stopped, hearing something in her room, “I need to got to the bathroom.” Scooting her chair away from the table, she scurried up the stairs and looked down the hall expecting Classy but saw her room saw almost glowing. Walking towards her room she opened the door and stared at the sight of a lone feather nearing her form, and soon everything was blinding white.

Ed was on his way back to Echo and Classy, but before had been distracted by his mother who nearly screamed his ear off earlier. He still was rubbing at his ear and trying to get the ringing away from his ear drum; padding at the cliff walls he sighed tiredly to have his arm go through the wall, and so he walked through the spot to find himself in his room.
“Perfect.”
“EDMUND!” His name echoed through the Mansion nearly scaring him to death, but he gained his composure and walked down the hall towards the stairs to find Classy in her human form.
