Isn't She Lovely? (Harry Styles fanfic)

Part 1

Harry's-

"Perrie should be here soon.." Zayn was saying, "Hmm any time now. I wonder what's taking her so long.."

That's all Zayn has been talking about for the past hour but I have to admit, it's pretty cute. I know he's a little worked up that he couldn't see her straight from the airport when she arrived from America because of conflicting schedules.. But it was nice of Perrie to decide to go straight away to the O2 from Heathrow, so she can make it to our concert tonight.

"Hiya baby!"

"Perrie!!"

I can see them embrace through the mirror, I looked up at Lou as she was fixing my hair and smirked. After listening to Zayn whine for hours about Perrie, it was nice to finally see him smile.

At the corner of the mirror I saw a girl standing behind Zayn and Perrie. She was smiling at the two as they embraced. She had long hair that reached to the bottom of her back and a light, off-white creamy complextion. There's no doubt in my mind that she looks different but in a cute way.

"Finally baby, you're here. I was worr- Erin?" Zayn suddenly asked.

"Hi Zayn," the girl shyly smiled behind Perrie.

Zayn let go of Perrie and embraced the girl in a tight hug.

"Surprise!" Perrie said.

"Hiya Zayn-ee-poo," the girl said jokingly as Zayn let her go from his embrace.

"Erin! What.. I mean.. How?" Zayn was mumbling.

"When Perrie and I hung out while she was at SF with Little Mix, she asked me to come to LA too and watch their last few gigs.. And afterwards she said it would be nice if I came across the pond to visit you," the girl, Erin was explaining.

I took note of her features as she talked. Her small voice, her animated gestures as she explained her story, and her light British accent mixed with an American one.

Zayn put his arm around Perrie and lightly squeezed her, smiling appreciatively at her. "Thanks baby for this surprise," he quietly said to her.

Perrie's cheeks warmed and I turned to look at Erin, who was looking away smiling. Just then, Erin's eyes fell on mine, she gave me a small smile and looked away. Well that was awkward eye contact. I turned back in my chair and looked straight at the mirror while Lou continued to fix my hair. I can tell Lou was trying to hold in her laughter, I know she saw that awkward gesture and will later make fun of me, unless she forgets.. Hopefully.

Zayn then cleared his throat and Lou and I looked up at him and Perrie. Perrie waved at us and we smiled back and just as I was about to ask how's she doing.. Zayn pulled Erin forward.

"Lou, Harry, this is one of my best friends Erin," Zayn said. "Erin, this is Lou and Harry."

"Hi," she said smiling at us.

Lou put the comb down to greet her and shake her hand. I followed Lou and took Erin's small hand in mine and shook it. Up close she was a lot more attractive than I had thought.

After I let go of her hand, I began to make my way over to the couch next to the doorway where she stood. As I was about to sit down, I was going to ask her if she'd like to sit. But as the question was about to leave my mouth, the rest of the boys came through the door.

"Oh Perrie! Right good thing you're finally here, Zayn wouldn't shut up," Niall said.

Everyone started laughing but I took notice on how cute Erin looked while she laughed.

"Yeah he was going on and on about-"

"Okay Niall! I'm sure she gets it," Zayn cut him off. "Anyway lads, this is one of my best friends Erin," Zayn gestured for Erin to come forward, "Perrie surprised me by bringing Erin here to the UK."

As they all introduced each other to Erin, I was watching how she reacted to everyone. She seems like a shy girl. 

As I was watching her and Niall talk, I caught Louis's eye as he was smirking at me. I picked up a pillow from the couch and threw it at him. I know I'd be hearing some inappropriate joke later. Great, now I'll be hearing something from Lou and Louis.

Erin's-

"Okay I need a break, I'm still jet lagged you know!"

"Oops, I forgot.. Wanna get something to eat now guys?" Zayn asked.

"Yeah there's a mc donalds at the corner," Niall said.

So far we have done a ton of shopping and my feet were killing me. I'm pretty sure I should have worn more comfortable shoes over these oxfords but all in all it was nice to spend time with Zayn. I haven't had the chance to see him in so long, it feels just like old times hanging out again.

I can tell Zayn missed Perrie while she was in America. But Zayn and Perrie have been nice and been taking me out in London. And it was nice enough for Niall and Josh to tag along too, so I'm not completely third wheeling with Zayn and Perrie.. Although I mostly feel like I'm third wheeling with Niall and Josh.

"God Niall! Your burps are disgusting," Zayn exclaimed.

"Not as bad as your farts, aye Zayn?" Niall replied. Niall had one thing right, Zayn's farts were silent but deadly.

After we finished our mc donalds, we continued to shop again. While the boys were off in the boys section of Urban Outfitters, Perrie and I went ahead to the girls section looking at the up coming summer collection.

"Thank you again Perrie for bringing me here. London is amazing as usual and it's really nice to see Zayn again! It has been ages."

"Oh my god, of course, you're welcome! You are enjoying yourself yeah? I hope we're not boring you!" Perrie exclaimed.

"Oh no no! It's been amazing. And to be real, it's nice to see Zayn this happy. You two are good together," as I was talking I can see a blush creep on Perrie's face at the mention of Zayn.

"That is so nice of you. Thank you thank you, especially coming from one of Zayn's best friends, you both are practically like family and it's nice to know you like us together. To be honest, I was scared when I first met you! I only hoped you liked me enough to date Zayn!"

"Haha! Are you kidding me? You're perfect for Zayn. You're honestly the girl version of Zayn haha, it's ridiculous."

"I'm glad! But all in all you're enjoying it yeah?"

"Yeah! Everyone's welcoming and the boys are amazingly talented. That gig last night was a lot of fun."

"Right, I just remembered it was your first time watching! And meeting the boys.. Crazy since you and Zayn have been close since you two were babies."

"It is crazy, I just never had the time to see any of their concerts when they came to America nor have had the time to come to the UK."

"But the boys are nice yeah?"

"Yeah, they're all really nice and funny.. I can see why Zayn has so much fun."

"Has um, any of the boys catch your eye?" as Perrie asked me that question I threw the dress I was holding in my hands.

"Oh god no, and don't get any ideas!" I exclaimed.

"Not even Niall? You're both hilarious!" Perrie said jokingly as she took the dress I threw off her head.

"Niall is nice and a sweetheart. But I'm here on vacation to visit Zayn and hang out with you two, not be on eharmony!"

"Hahaha you're right! You're right! But keep in mind Niall and Harry are single. And I think Josh might be too. If not I also know plenty of guys that can fit what you want."

"Oh shut up," I said jokingly, "again, no eharmony!"
