A Diary Romance:

I stood next to the coffin, and looked at the person that lay inside. My beloved sister had her eyes closed, and she rested in peace. It was two weeks after the day of her brutal murder. I could remember how heart-broken I was when i heard what had happened to my sister during that fateful night. She was probably yelling for help in her room, while I was yelling for joy in a popular night spot.

Attending the funeral wasn't any better. Those pathetic people just kept saying they were very sorry for me, and that they would do anything they could to make me happier, but the only thing they could do was to shut up. Worse than that, some had their hands on my head and then mutter a prayer, like they were God or something. The funeral ended just at the time I had wanted it to. Not that I want to get away from my dead sister or anything, i just simply wanted to sit in bed and do my homework. But thankfully, it was the autumn holidays and I had plenty time to complete it. I ran for the bed once I got home. I smiled at the comfort the mattress gave. My mind went completely blank once I sat up in bed and looked across the room.

There it was, sitting quietly at a corner, waiting for someone to pick it up. I recognised it instantly, my sister's diary. I always saw her carrying it around with her all the time. I took the diary and sat on my bed. Let's just say, it's thick and sea-blue in colour, and it had a belt which you could slip it in some kind of a small bridge, or whatever that is. In my point of view, i need not read anything in it, as i was confident i knew my sister very well. But who cares? It won't hurt to just read an entry or two, right?

I opened the diary to see the first entry. It read:

September 27, Sunday

Dear Diary,

Chloe here! Okay, I have to tell you about my boyfriend. His name is Ethan. He's cool and all, but what attracted me to him was his overwhelming kindness. He's been chasing me for weeks and I guess i'll give it a go, since his gifts were way too sincere. He's a very good boyfriend, he gives me space and sometimes asks me out. Once, i failed my History test, and he tried to make me happy. He was so damn funny! He was like, so nervous all the way, but very careful with his words.

Ammy's P.O.V

The entry ended there. I didn't know my sister had a boyfriend, seriously. Maybe as much as i thought i knew her, there would always be a hole. I flipped to the next page and started reading.

September 28, Monday

Dear Diary,

I was told to run three more laps than anyone else, since i was late for P.E. class. Everyone except Ethan stopped after two laps. He continued to jog behind me and told the teacher he still had laps to run. After five laps, i stopped. Exactly at the same time, Ethan stopped too. I asked him why he accompanied me for five full laps. He, relaxingly, told me he wanted to feel as tired as I was.

Ammy's P.O.V

Wow, I thought. This guy my sister's dating is really something. Now, being fully interested in the hidden life of my sister, i continued reading on.

September 29, Tuesday

Dear Diary,

I felt guilty all the way, and i started to ignore Ethan. I did that since a guy suddenly forced his lips on mine. Ava, school's largest gossiper, witnessed the incident. Immediately after that, she ran away. I tried to stop her but was pulled back by that sore bastard. He continued where he left off. I tried to push him away, but his body was too solid for me.

Ammy's P.O.V

I felt like punching that idiot my sister wrote about. Who was he to do that kind of thing to her?! It was shameless! I frowned and flipped to the next page.
