Chapter Three (You and Me – Attack Attack)
July 11th
I felt pressure on my hand. I felt cold. I was shaking in my spot. My breathe wasn't even in the slightest bit. I blinked my eyes open slowly. More shivers went down my spine as I froze. How cold was it out here?
“Damn it.” I heard a voice utter. Heath? What the- Where was I?
“Heath?” I could barely get myself to whisper. That's when I saw him right beside me, his black hair falling into his annoyed face. His face whipped in my direction so fast I bet he popped his neck or got whiplash or something. He narrowed his hazel eyes at me. What had I done? I simply glared at him. It toke me long enough to notice that he was holding my hand. I pulled it out of his, and covered my face with my hands as I shook even more. I heard him sigh.
“What were you thinking when you decided to sleep in the rain, Lynn?! Your sick now. Olivia's has gone mad, if she hasn't already! You had me worried!” he shouted, not caring about any souls that might have heard us. I moved a finger over, and peeked out the hole to look at him. I had worried him? He was worried about me? He looked so concerned for me, I felt the rage in my veins rising up to the suffice.
“Don't worry about me! I'm not your problem! You don't have to check up on me, I'm a big kid, alright? Your not my father.” I growled as I sat up, only to lay my head in my lap of dizziness. I felt a cloth in my face, and I looked up. Heath was handing me his hoodie.
“Don't complain. Take it, put it on, and were going back. As of right now, I'm the closest thing to a father, so do it.” he hissed. I rolled my eyes as I pulled the hoodie up and over my head, slipping my arms through. It was much too big, but it didn't matter, I would take it off as soon as I got back.
When we returned I run right to our room grabbed as many clothes as I could, and went straight to the bathroom. I ran the water the hottest it would be, and stripped down and jumped in. Sighing as the boiling hot water hit me, the coldness was pushed away.
When I finished, I stepped out, only to be cold once again. I throw on as many layers I could fit, and blow dried my hair. Once I was done, I was still shivering. I stared at Heath's white hoodie. 'I lied', I thought as I pulled it on as well.
I slowly walked into my room, and plopped down onto my bed.
“God, your so pale.” Heath mumbled looking at my face closely. I sighed, soon after I sneezed, which had came with a shiver. He sighed at this. “And you better not get me sick, you'll regret that.” he added. I rolled my eyes. I would get him sick if I wanted too. “Are you mute now?” he asked me raising an eyebrow. I sighed this time in frustration. Will this guy ever shut up? I'm thinking that, that is so very doubtful. I lied back onto my bed and shivered again, okay, that was getting annoying. When am I going to get better? I sneezed again. I groaned.
“Your sneezes are cute.” Heath smirked. I glared at him, god, River had said the same thing. “What?” he asked. He caught the glare that I sent toward him. I shrugged.
