Chapter 1

--Dear diary,

Welcome to my life!
Yes the boring life of Ava Riley, I'm 19 and I'm in NYU seems the place that most people choose for university, I however hate it here, I have sort of a friend, well he's an acquaintance, I don't like making friends. Let me tell you how I got here, when I was 14 I had it all going for me, I was a dancer and model and I even had an acting career, family was together and I was happy, then one day I was acting like a little spoilt bitch and my parents had an argument, ever since that they started fighting more and more and ended up in a divorce and I stopped dancing, modeling and acting, 15 years old and I was an emotional wreck, finally at age 16 I decided to get out of my emotional wreck stage and I became a hipster, I hated everything mainstream and I still do, ugh all those stupid bands like one direction and 5 seconds of summer, they can't even sing yet they are the most popular band, anyways so I got good grades and got excepted into NYU. I love to write, I think it's so amazing, I collect poetry and go around to these houses where they host a story telling marathon once a month and they have unknown people tell some of the stories they write, it amazes me.

I closed my diary and put it on my desk, I really don't have any idea why I started writing a diary I guess sometimes you do need a friend.
I end up watching Chinese horror movies and I fall asleep during the best one I have school tomorrow and it's absolute hell, can't wait!
