Caught In Their Grasp

One is me, All is society

Society judges so that I'm something other than me

All is one, One is all

What is the world like if I'm nothing at all?

We say every individual is unique

But then, there are those with arrogant critiques

Because of them, they are able to fool you

There isn't an individual, only a hierarchy above you

With steady voices, they aren't afraid to voice there opinion

With confidence, they don't care to stamp on your dignity

With no mercy, they'll make you listen

With them, there isn't any individuality

What are we doing?!

Letting society act barbarity

Even if they're frauds,we sit quietly, watch them continuing

Enjoying their selves, making us believe,that this life,this hell, that this is reality

They control us with strings as if we were puppets

They act as if we are pawns to their meaningless game

They treat us like trash, meaningless upsets

They think we are wild, something to tame

Everyday I wonder as I sat

When will we be free? How should we act?

We can't stay still especially with this society

Acting like a hero when all they use is cruelty

Don't be afraid, they only act as if they're stong

Keep your mind clear, and convert your beliefs into actions

Don't hesitate, they are the ones who has done wrong

With progress, society will match up to your satisfaction

Escape the shadows that society has over casted

Escape the judgement and learn to be just "you"

Escape from hesitation and those who made life drastic

Escape their grasp and end this taboo
